Big Man Rusty (8) – Checked across heels approaching the turn into the back straight and was marginally hampered. Mia’s Karmar (3) – Checked across heels approaching the front straight, turned its head and marred the running of greyhound to its inside over the later stages of the race. Charged under Rule 692(c) stood down from racing for a period of 12 months, as this was its third offence until completed a satisfactory trial. Mitchell John (4) – Gave ground over the concluding stages. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. Eye Hate Cake (6) – Hampered approaching the turn into the front straight. La Bamba (8) – Checked in the front straight with the greyhound to its outside marred its running. Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 4/5 GRADE 520M Barbarella (1) – Tightened and checked in the front straight on the first occasion, collided with another runner approaching the turn into the back straight. Velostar (2) – Tightened and checked in the front straight in the first occasion. Turned its head and eased in the front straight during the run to the finish. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it had injured its near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Charged under Rule 69b for Failing to Pursue with injury and must complete one satisfactory trial before return to racing. Red Hot Spur (3) – Tightened and checked in the front straight in the first occasion, checked round the turn into the front straight. Butterfly Is She (4) – Tightened and checked approaching the turn out of the front straight, checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Darby’s Girl (5) – Checked round the turn into the front straight. Zudactyl Monelli (6) – Tightened and checked in the front straight in the first occasion, checked rounding the turn into the front straight.
