Race 1 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM Grade M 431m
(1) Three Horn – checked through the first turn. (2) Peppa Jewel – checked through the first turn. (3) Elly's Fernando – checked through the first turn. Raced wide entering the back straight. Checked off heels and raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. (4) Vegas Talks – checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight. (6) Stevo's Aim – raced wide rounding the turn out of the back straight, and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its near side back muscle, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. Charged under GAR 69(1)(b) for failing to pursue with injury, and must trial to Stewards satisfaction before returning to racing. (7) Euroa Flex – checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.
Race 2 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM Maiden Heat 1 Grade M 520m (4) Tuta Bryan – hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight. Collided with another runner in the front straight in the run to the finish. (5) Kravitz – slow to begin. Hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight. Collided with another runner in the front straight in the run to the finish. (6) Mel Buzz – checked off heels rounding the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries.
Race 3 – SKY RACING Maiden H Grade M 520m (1) Yeah What – contacted the heels of another runner rounding the turn out of the front straight. (2) Angry Angus – had its heels contacted by another runner rounding the turn out of the front straight. Collided with another runner approaching the turn into the back straight. (4) Pay The Ace – checked shortly after the start. (5) Champagne Reign – slow to begin. Shifted in and contacted the running rail leaving the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (7) Twig Buzz – collided with another runner approaching the turn into the back straight. (8) Fireball Sam – gave ground leaving the back straight. Contacted another runners heels entering the back straight. Shifted in and made contact with the running rail. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have bruising to its chest wall, and was stood down from racing for a period of 5 days. Was stood down from racing under GAR 71 for an unsatisfactory performance until it completes one satisfactory Stewards trial.
Race 4 – DOVER & SONS Grade Novice 431m (2) Euroa Barney – checked through the first turn. (3) Tipsy Four – checked through the first turn. Collided with another runner entering the back straight. (4) Coolraddo – checked and raced wide entering the back straight. Raced wide entering the front straight. (5) Just For Jake – collided with another runner shortly after the start. Collided with another runner entering the back straight. (6) My Girl Yessam – severely checked through the first turn and fell. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (7) Duke's Rocket – slow to begin. Collided with another runner shortly after the start. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. Checked in the front straight. (8) Big Mouth – severely checked through the first turn.
Race 5 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM Grade NOV 520m (1) Galway Panther – commenced to give ground leaving the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its near side pin, and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days. (3) Ladylike Grace – slipped on the mat and collided with another runner shortly after the start. Checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. (4) Galway General – collided with another runner shortly after the start. (7) Centigram – collided with another runner in the front straight on the first occasion. (8) Spur On – collided with another runner in the front straight on the first occasion.
Race 6 – TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS Grade 5 520M (2) Rising Beyond – checked shortly after the start. Raced tight in the front straight on the first occasion. (3) Shake An' Show – raced tight in the front straight on the first occasion. (4) Watkins Glen – raced tight in the front straight on the first occasion. Checked leaving the front straight. (6) Danyo's Lozza – checked leaving the front straight.
Race 7 – WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS Grade 4/5 431m (2) Cakes All Round – collided with another runner approaching the first turn. (3) Farmor Inferno – tightened and checked approaching the first turn. (4) Spring Wine – tightened and checked approaching the first turn. (5) Coopes – tightened and checked approaching the first turn. (6) Reactor – tightened and checked approaching the first turn. (7) Lanark Blue – checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
