Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 2 431m 1 Dempsey Lee – Raced tight bumping with another runner on a number of occasions in the front straight. 2 Head On Bella – Best to begin. Significantly checked leaving the first turn. 4 Bad Credit – Severely checked shortly after the start. 6 Spasmodic Star – Checked leaving the first turn. Raced tight and deviated its attention towards the runner racing to its outside in the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a triceps tendon strain and was subsequently charged under rule 69(b) and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. Race 2 – SKY RACING NOVICE 2 431m 2 Way – Severely checked leaving the turn into the back straight. 3 Angry Angus – Checked heavily on a number of occasions with the runner racing to its outside through the turn into the back straight. 4 Emmaville Chaser - Checked heavily on a number of occasions with the runner racing to its inside through the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside pin and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 5 Sandpaper Smithy – Severely checked leaving the turn into the back straight. 6 Maywyn Onyx – Hampered through the turn into the back straight. 7 Regas – Hampered and raced wide through the turn into the back straight. 8 Twisted Lady – Checked and raced wide through the turn into the back straight. Checked off heels leaving the turn into the back straight. Impeded then checked at the finish line. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hip and was stood down from racing for a period of 21 days. Race 5 – ADVENTURE TOURISM AUSTRALIA 5PW 2 520m 5 Fabulous Gee – Significantly inconvenienced by another runner at the first turn. 6 Lucky Nova – Tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.
