Raced wide in the front straight. 5 Hammer Down – Best away. 7 Spring Lance – Bumped leaving the 1st turn. Clipped heels leaving the back straight. Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m 2 Gun's Son – Bumped in the 1st turn. Checked in the top turn. 3 Trounced – Checked in the top turn. 5 Bud's Comet – Slow away. Shifted out and clipped heels rounding the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off fore foot and stood down for 14 days. 8 Zuleika – Bumped in the 1st turn.
