Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m 2 Expat Mohawk – slow to begin.
4 Awesome Dream – took an awkward stride when rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.
5 Spring Here – tightened for room when approaching the turn out of the back straight, checked and lost ground.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m 1 Alpha Tyche – steadied away from another runner, which was shifting out, over the concluding stages and lost ground.
2 We Have Solo – raced wide in the back straight and when rounding the turn into the home straight.
Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m 2 Bubbles And Brie – bumped by another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and was checked. Raced wide in the home straight.
3 Runaway Tommy – collided with another runner when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost ground.
4 Messy Man – collided with another runner when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost ground. Shifted inwards and made heavy contact with the running rail when rounding the turn into the back straight, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
5 Ringbark Reign – tightened between runners at the start and lost ground. Shifted in and made heavy contact with the running rail when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside hind leg and was stood down for 10 days.
6 Minibar – bumped with an inside runner at the start and lost ground.
8 Detroit Diesel – shifted inwards when rounding the turn into the back straight, bumped with another runner and was momentarily hampered. Raced awkwardly when rounding the turn into the home straight. When questioned on the greyhounds actions rounding the home turn, trainers representative S. Morris advised stewards the greyhound had a similar action in its previous run, however had shown improvement in its running action and believed the greyhound would benefit from the run. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 9/6 Minibar – hampered by another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. 10/1 – checked off heels when entering the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.
Race 4 – DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m 1 Screaming Betty – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Tightened for room through the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.
2 That's It Dennis – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off heels when entering the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground. Bumped by another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight, lost ground and hampered another runner as a consequence.
3 Mini's Girl – shifted inwards when entering the turn out of the back straight, collided with another runner, was severely checked and took awkward strides while shifting outwards on the turn and lost considerable ground as a consequence.
4 Farrah's Fling – eased momentarily when anticipating forward interference and lost ground, hampering other runners.
5 Maywyn Lots – tightened between runners through the first turn, was checked, then contacted on the heel by another runner and lost ground as a consequence.
6 Lil Bit Foxy – improved onto the heels of another runner through the first turn, was severely checked, shifted outwards making contact with the heels of another runner and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner, which was losing ground, and was checked as a consequence.
7 Big Man Rusty – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off heels when rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.
8 We Get It – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Tightened for room when entering the turn out of the back straight, collided heavily with another runner, was severely checked and fell taking no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 5 – BEENLEIGH LEGAL GRADE 5 (1) 431m 1 Squawking Squaw – tightened for room through the first turn and was momentarily hampered.
2 Elusive Fancy – tightened between runners through the first turn, was checked and lost ground.
6 Stevo's Bad Boy – tightened between runners through the first turn, was checked and lost ground.
7 Euroa Flex – tightened between runners through the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.
Race 6 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MIXED 4/5 431m 4 Maximum Bliss – bumped with another runner through the first turn. Shifted wide on the track, when rounding the turn into the home straight, dictating the line of another runner.
5 Spring Noir – bumped with another runner through the first turn. Checked inside the heels of another runner, which shifted outwards significantly, when rounding the turn into the home straight.
6 Wazza Said – raced wide for a majority of the event.
Race 7 – GREYHOUND GEAR MIXED 4/5 520m 3 Deep Emotion – shifted outwards and bumped with another runner at the start, shifted in behind runners and lost ground.
5 Final Plea – bumped with another runner at the start.
8 Regal Opal – bumped with another runner when approaching the turn out of the front straight, shifted wider on the turn and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight, shifted inwards improving onto the heels of another runner, checked and lost ground.
Race 8 – TAB BEST 8 431m 2 Little Ach Cee – checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight.
3 Spring Wine – tightened between runners and checked through the first turn.
6 Second Gear – tightened between runners and checked through the first turn. Improved onto the heels of another runner, which was losing ground, when rounding the turn into the back straight, and was momentarily hampered. Contacted the hindquarters of another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight, checked and lost ground.
7 Passing Nova– tightened between runners and checked through the first turn. Eased off the heels of another runner, which was losing ground, when rounding the turn out of the back straight, and was momentarily held up for clear running.
8 Spring Iris – tightened between runners and checked through the first turn.
Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (2) 431m 2 Regal Jade – bumped with another runner when entering the first turn and was checked.
3 Shakey Randle – bumped by another runner at the start and lost ground. Tightened for room rounding the turn into the home straight and was momentarily hampered.
4 Ever Ready Eddy – bumped by another runner at the start and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was checked and lost ground.
5 Lone Cowboy – bumped with another runner when entering the first turn and was checked.
7 Forrest Nova – tightened for room through the first turn, was severely checked and lost ground.
8 Spring Reina – bumped with another runner when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was checked and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight, then shifted wider on the track and lost ground.
Race 10 – SECURE RACING LOGISTICS MIXED 4/5 288m 4 Tipsy Four – checked when rounding the first turn, trying to avoid contacting other runners which had fallen.
5 Macalister Gwen – bumped with another runner when approaching the turn out of the back straight, was severely checked and lost ground, colliding with another runner then fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
6 Macalister Rosy – checked when rounding the first turn, trying to avoid contacting other runners which had fallen.
9/7 Aerobic Zone – improved onto another runner, which was losing ground, when approaching the turn out of the back straight, was severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
8 Prize Portrait – slow to begin. Checked when rounding the first turn, trying to avoid contacting other runners which had fallen. ____________
