Supplementary Report
Mr Colin Curits, Trainer of Invergarry Angel, reported to Stewards that following the greyhound’s performance at Albion Park on Monday night (11/11/19), a follow-up veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had sustained an injury to the near wrist and Mr. Curtis advised he would now retire the greyhound as a pet.
Race 1 - SKY RACING NOVICE 520m 1 Cilla Prevails – collided with another runner at the start. Tightened for room and hampered at the first turn. 2 Open My Mail – was slow to begin. 3 Hirstglen – tightened for room and checked at the start. Tightened for room and hampered at the first turn. Tightened for room, checked out across heels and collided with another runner at the first turn. 4 Morris The Great – tightened for room and hampered after the start. 5 Wicked Collision – collided with another runner at the start. Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked. 6 When Dell – was slow to begin. Ran wide at the first turn. Collided with another runner on entering the back straight and was checked. Checked out across heels through the turn into the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Mr. Meteyard, trainer of When Dell, stated that the greyhound had been performing well in recent field trials and put tonight’s disappointing performance down to inexperience in chasing from back in the field. Mr. Meteyard added that he would look to give When Dell a week off to gain confidence and target a novice event at Albion Park in future.
Race 2 – TAB MA5 520m 1 Logan's Run – collided with another runner after the start and was checked. 2 Vision Of Love – tightened for room and checked after the start. Collided with another runner and fell in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 3 Off The Deck – Was best to begin. 4 Paua To Launch – bumped another runner at the start. Tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn. 5 Logan City – bumped another runner through the first turn. 9 (6) Dervando – collided with another runner after the start and was checked. Bumped another runner through the first turn.
Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (1) 520m 1 Mel Buzz – checked off heels through the first turn. 2 Dusty's Charlie – bumped another runner through the first turn. 3 Lady Xena – was best to begin. Leaving the back straight, changed strides on a number of occasions, became unbalanced and lost ground. Tightened for room and hampered through the turn into the front straight. Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was checked. Collided with another runner in the catching pen and fell. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 6 Bee Solo – checked in across heels at the start. 7 Isnt She Special – bumped another runner through the first turn.

732m 2 Elusive Star – tightened for room and checked at the first turn. 4 Federal Elle – was best to begin. 5 Babs Kramer – Tightened for room and checked at the first turn. Collided with another runner and was checked on entering the front straight (1st occasion). 8 Emulating Chloe – was slow to begin. Collided with another runner and was checked on entering the front straight (1st occasion).
Race 5 – TAB FFA 630m 3 Mac Roamin' – tightened for room and hampered through the first turn. Collided with another runner through the turn into the back straight and was checked. 5 Uno Fabio – was slow to begin. 7 Stevick – tightened for room and checked out across heels through the first turn. 8 Bago Bluff – collided with another runner through the turn into the back straight and was checked.
Race 6 – TAB IPSWICH GOLD CUP (G3) CONSOLATION OPEN 520m 2 Shakey Diesel – improved onto heels and was hampered at the first turn. Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was checked. 10 (3) Shake An’ Show – tightened for room and checked at the first turn. Shifted out and collided with another runner at the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had sustained an injury to an off fore toe and was subsequently stood down for a period of 6 weeks. 9 (4) Regal Recall – collided with another runner shortly after the start. 5 Big Boy Bruce – tightened for room and checked at the start. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 6 Let's Go Ozzi – tightened for room and checked at the first turn. Bumped the running rail through the first turn and became unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination of the greyhound did not reveal any abnormalities. 7 Big Bad Bob – was slow to begin and checked off heels. Bumped another runner through the turn into the front straight.
Race 7 – IPSWICH SPRINT FINAL OPEN 431m 1 Back Play – bumped another runner in the front straight. 4 Lock ‘Em – collided with another runner in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 5 Eli Red Fawn – bumped another runner and was checked leaving the back straight. 6 One Mumma – bumped another runner, shifted out colliding with another and was checked in the back straight. 7 Hay Billy – tightened for room and hampered at the start. Bumped another runner leaving the back straight. Bumped another runner in the front straight. 8 Sleek Style – collided with another runner and was checked in the back straight. Collided with another runner in the catching pen and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had sustained an injury to the near pin and was subsequently stood down for a period of 7 days.
Race 8 – TAB IPSWICH GOLD CUP (G3) FINAL OPEN 520m 3 Fernando Blaster – collided with another and was checked at the start. Checked in across heels and bumped the running rail at the first turn. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 9 (4) Stinger Noir – collided with another and was checked at the start. 5 Are Jay Junior – collided with another and was checked at the start. 6 Velocity Bettina – collided with another and was checked at the start.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had sustained an injury to the off chest muscle and was subsequently stood down for a period of 10 days. 3 Super Cesc – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Tightened for rom and checked out across heels at the first turn. Collided with another runner at the first turn. 4 Edelman – checked in across heels shortly after the start. 5 Dahomey Windsong – collided with another runner at the first turn. Collided with another runner on entering the front straight. Bumped another runner in the front straight. 6 Bobby The Jett – collided with another runner at the start. 7 Blue Diva – bumped another runner at the start. 8 Opal Beach – began awkwardly and bumped another runner. Collided with another runner at the first turn.
