Stewards questioned trainer Mr Mark Saal on the performance, which he stated that the greyhound needs to jump to the lead and also mentioned when engaged in a later race suffers from poor kennel manners. 3 Sir Pantsalot – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion. Raced wide in the 1st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side shoulder and stood down for 10 days. 4 Shian Cody – Bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion. 6 Galway General – Shifted in and checked another runner shortly after the start.
