Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m 1 Midnight Million - checked shortly after the start. 2 Cheeky Nando – checked shortly after the start. Checked through the first turn. Checked entering the back straight. 3 Rhythm Chaser – shifted in and contacted the running rail through the first turn. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 4 Somerset Miss - Checked entering the back straight. Eased approaching the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious injuries. Charged under rule 69A Failing to Persue and was stood down from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory. 5 Party Pet - checked shortly after the start. 6 Spring Rock - checked shortly after the start.

Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 8 Class Talks - checked through the first turn. 9 Velocity Summit - checked through the first turn. 10 Rocket Raider – slow to begin.
Race 4 – DOVER & SONS MIXED 3/4 431m 1 Spring Reina - checked through the first turn. 4 Razziai Rain - checked through the first turn. 6 Spring Roy - checked through the first turn. Checked leaving the back straight. 7 Alpha Hestia - checked through the first turn. 8 Sustain The Rage – checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
Race 5 – ADVENTURE TOURISM AUSTRALIA GRADE 5 (1) 431m 3 Dodgy Kell - checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 4 Ringbark Reign - checked through the first turn. 5 Red Hot Spur - checked through the first turn. Shifted in and contacted the running rail through the first turn. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. 6 Sesqui – reweigh, previous weight 29.4 weighed in 28.3. Checked through the first turn.
Race 6 – JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL HEAT 1 MIXED 4/5 520m 4 Senorita Maywyn – checked approaching the turn out of the front straight. 7 Tipsy Four – checked entering the home straight.
Race 7 – JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 520m 3 Jimary Turbo – marginally slow to begin. Eased and lost considerable ground entering the back straight. . Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. When questioned trainer A Monaghan explained that the greyhound was having its first race start after a race fall at Albion Park where it turned back into the field and the race had to stopped. He said that Jimary Turbo had been trialling well in single greyhound trials however had not had a field trial leading up to the race. Jimary Turbo was issued with a charge under Rule 69A Failing to Persue and was stood down from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory. 5 My Windsong – checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 8 Pearlie Queen - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 10 Cash Trail – raced wide rounding the turn out of the front straight.
Race 8 – JOHN YOUNG MEMORIAL HEAT 3 MIXED 4/5 520m 5 Screaming Betty – checked shortly after the start. 6 Bago Bluff – checked rounding the turn out of the front straight.
Race 9 – GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON GRADE 5 (2) 431m 3 Kid Sunrise - checked through the first turn. 9 Euroa Barney – checked shortly after the start. Checked through the first turn. 10 Rory Lee – checked leaving the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it have fractured its off hock and was stood down from racing for 12 weeks. Trainer P Sullivan was directed to seek immediate Veterinary care and to advise Stewards of results of further examinations.
