Supplementary: from Albion Park, Monday 16 March 2020 – Trainer G. Keep reported the greyhound Another Red had undergone successful surgery and would now be retired as a pet.
Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m 2 Wildey Beast – Best to begin. 4 Zipping Flick – Tightened for room when entering the first turn, checked and lost ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight. 7 Sweet Minx – Raced wide entering the back straight. Bumped with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m 2 Murder Glass – checked and lost ground entering the back straight. 4 Rosdue Sierra – clipped from behind entering the back straight. 7 Krispy Oreo –severely checked entering the turn into the back straight and lost considerable ground. Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight. 8 Cosmo Girl – Shifted inwards at the turn into the back straight, checked with another runner and lost ground.
Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m 4 SPRING CURLY – Bumped with another runner immediately after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner entering the back straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 5 OLIVER TEARS – Hampered by another runner immediately after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight 6 SPRING MOON – Contacted on the heels by another runner when entering the back straight. Tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was momentarily hampered and lost ground. 7 MISS LADYBIRD – Raced wide for a majority of the event.
Race 4 – DOVER & SONS NOVICE (1) 431m 1 Magic Rascal – Slow to begin. Tightened for room entering the back straight and was momentarily hampered. 2 Why Catcher – Checked off heels of another runner and lost ground through the turn into the back straight. 3 Little Turbo – Tightened for room shortly after the start, was checked and lost ground. 5 Miss Conduct – Checked off the heels of another runner through the turn into the back straight and lost ground. 6 Tender Talk – Slow to begin.
Race 5 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (2) 431m 2 Little Engine – Very slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn into the home straight. 5 Gunner Bill – Tightened for room and checked when entering the first turn. Tightened and momentarily hampered rounding the turn out of the back straight. 6 Evonne's Got Sox – Tightened for room, checked and lost ground when entering the first turn. Raced wide for a majority of the event. 7 Farrah's Legacy – Bumped with another runner entering the first turn. 8 Bay – Raced wide for a majority of the event.
Race 6 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (1) 431m 1 Mitchell John – Checked off heels through the first turn and collided with other runners. 2 Accountable – Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when entering the first turn and was momentarily hampered. 3 Thunder Duck – Contacted on the heels by other runners at the turn into the back straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 4 Thunder Road – Checked with another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. 5 Alpha Styx – Bumped another runner through the turn into the back straight. 6 Aerobic Tank - Bumped another runner through the turn into the back straight. 7 Chippies – Bumped with another runner immediately after the start and lost ground. 8 Ocean Master – Hampered through the first turn and lost ground.
Race 7 – GJ WALSH & CO MIXED 4/5 520m 2 Rosdue Kirra – Bumped with another runner immediately after the start. Checked with another runner and lost ground rounding the turn out of the front straight. 3 Ringbark Reign - Bumped with another runner immediately after the start. 5 Junior Jet – Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when entering the first turn and was momentarily hampered. 7 Flaming Brooke – Collided with another runner entering the turn out of the home straight. 8 Cash Trail – Bumped with another runner entering the first turn and raced wide through the turn into the back straight. Raced wide in the back straight
Race 8 – TAB MIXED 4/5 431m 3 Oh She Glows – Bumped shortly after the start and was momentarily hampered. 4 Farmor In Tune – Bumped with another runner entering the back straight. 6 Edelman – Checked off the heels of another runner and shifted out entering the turn into the back straight. Bumped with another runner entering the back straight. 8 Ballymac Jay – Marginally slow to begin. Raced wide through the back straight.
Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (2) 431m 3 Duke's Rocket – Bumped with another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. After observing the greyhounds boxing manners for this event, the stewards elected to cancel the “box first” endorsement. 4 Squawking Squaw – Tightened for room and bumped anther runner through the turn into the back straight. 5 Pearlie Queen – Checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked off the heels rounding the turn out of the back straight.
Race 10 – ACCELL THERAPY 5PW 431m 1 Frosty Cowboy – declared a late scratching at 1:06pm due to an injury sustained to the off fore foot and was given 10 days stand-down. 2 Forever Diamonds – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Hampered rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground, 3 Special Karmar – Best to begin. 4 Big Man Rusty – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner exiting the back straight. 5 Screaming Betty – Heavily checked by runners and lost ground rounding the turn into the back straight. Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when exiting the back straight. |
