Other Comments / Explanations: “Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races”
Race 1 - TAB MDNPW 288m 2 Causeway Bud – Contacted the heels of another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. 3 Haigslea Rose – severely checked when marred by another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. 4 Bud's Hope – Was contacted on the hindquarters by another runner in the turn into the home straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. 5 Krispy Oreo – Checked off the heels of another runner in the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground. 7 Bud's Knight – Shifted out rounding the turn into the front straight and made head and muzzle contact with another runner, charged under rule 69 Marring which was its second offence. The greyhound was stood down for a period of 3 months all tracks and must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing. 8 Three Horn – Contacted the hindquarters of another runner in the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN (1) 288m 1 Fernando Bobbie – Tightened for room rounding the turn into the home straight was checked and lost ground. 4 Cheer White – Tightened for room rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground 5 Yap And Jump – Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner approaching the turn into the home straight. 6 Hombre Duck – Contacted the hindquarters of another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed 7 Ear Piercing – Was contacted the hindquarters of another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. 8 Snuggle Pie – Checked by another runner approaching the turn into the home straight.
