Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m 2 Lean Burn – Best to begin. 4 Gun's Son – Bumped another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. 5 Planetary Pup - Bumped another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. 7 Majestic Nova – Checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. 8 Flying Paterson – Very slow to begin. Shifted out and contacted the hindquarters of another runner exiting the back straight. 10 Zabdon Adesanya – Lost considerable ground entering he back straight. A post-veterinary examination revealed an injury sustained to the off-foreleg and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m 1 Cliffy Makutu – Bumped by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. Clipped the heels of another runner entering the back straight and lost ground. 2 Pacino – Bumped by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. 3 Big Hero Texada – Bumped with another runner entering the back straight. 4 Austria's Heidi – Was contacted on the hindquarters by another runner exiting the back straight. 6 Haigslea Rose – Checked another runner entering the back straight. 7 Peekaboo Pearl - Checked another runner entering the back straight and lost ground. 8 Princess Rarity – Bumped by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. Severely checked off the heels of another runner exiting the back straight and lost considerable ground.
