Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 431m 1 Rosdue Citrus –checked through the first turn. Marred by another runner in the front straight. 3 Lumen Scar - checked through the first turn. 4 Abby Court - checked through the first turn. 5 More - checked through the first turn. 6 Krispy Oreo - checked through the first turn. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination and was found to have injured its near side hip and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 8 Holly Queen - checked through the first turn. Turned its head and marred another runner in the front straight during the run to the finish. Charged under Rule 69 Marring, stood down at Ipswich for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN 520m 1 Linda Kay – checked in the back straight. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. 4 Maywyn's Bombora – collided with another runner shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight. 5 Double Digit - collided with another and checked runner shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.
Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE 431m 1 Little Engine - checked through the first turn. 2 Hara's Bacon - checked through the first turn. 3 Savitar - checked through the first turn. 4 Slip The Cuffs – slow to begin. Checked through the first turn. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 5 Double Slayer - checked through the first turn. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries. 6 Mad Invite - checked through the first turn. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
Race 4 – DOVER & SONS NOVICE 520m 1 Team Austria – tightened for room and brushed the running rail approaching the turn out of the front straight. Shifted in and made contact with the running rail approaching the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination and was found apparent injuries. 4 Cheeky Nando –slow to begin. 5 Augusta Miss – slow to begin. 6 Why Catcher – checked approaching the turn out of the front straight. 7 On The Buses – checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
Race 5 BEENLEIGH LEGAL GRADE 5 (1) 520m 1 Madam Waltz – collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 4 Cilla Prevails – checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 6 Dervando - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 7 Blue Jillem - collided with another runner and checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 8 Broich - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 9 (Box 5) Chasin’ Charlie- checked rounding the turn out of the front straight.
Race 6 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 630m 1 Brains – Severely checked in the back straight and until entering the front straight when it marred another runner. Charged under rule 69 Marring, stood down from racing at Ipswich 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory trial. 4 Call Me Roxanne – checked rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. Checked in the front straight on the first occasion. 7 Slipknot - checked rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. 8 Junior Jet - checked rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. Shifted out and turned its head towards another runner in the back straight. Charged under Rule 69A Failing To Persue, stood down from racing for 3 months and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing. Severely checked in the back straight and until entering the front straight when marred by another runner.
Race 7 – GREYHOUND GEAR MIXED 4/5 630m 4 Pete's Dream - checked rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. 5 Federal Elle – checked entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination and was found to have injured its near side pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 7 Swift Dancer - checked rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. Checked entering the back straight.
Race 8 – TAB 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m 2 Red Hot Gossip – checked approaching the turn into the back straight. 5 Truthiness – checked shortly after the start. 6 Blame Brendan – tightened and checked approaching the turn out of the back straight.
Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 (2) 520m 2 I'm Demanding - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 3 Sandpaper Smithy - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 6 Inciter – tightened and checked shortly after the start. 7 Ringbark Reign - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight. 8 Fire Drill - checked rounding the turn out of the front straight.
Race 10 – GREYHOUND OF YEAR 2008 - ZANE'S BOY MIXED 4/5 431m 2 Spring Daphne – tightened and checked shortly after the start. 3 Brae Bear – checked through the first turn. 5 Inclined - checked through the first turn. 6 Just Gary - tightened and checked shortly after the start. 7 Accountable - checked through the first turn.
