General:
Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

9 (Box1) - tightened and checked through the first turn. Checked leaving the back straight. 2 Off Break – no report.
3 Beef City Black-  tightened and checked through the first turn.
4 Isla Bale- collided with another runner shortly after the start.
5 Winlock Power- tightened and checked shortly after the start. Tightened and checked through the first turn.
6 Big Hero Texada- collided with another runner shortly after the start.

4 Johnny Hot Feet- commenced to give ground approaching the turn out of the back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off side shoulder and was stood down from racing for a period of 21 days.
5 Spritely Maiden- tightened and checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
6 Savitar- tightened and checked shortly after the start. Severely checked entering the back straight. Underwent a postrace veterinary examination which failed to reveal any injuries.
7 Buzzer Beater- tightened and checked shortly after start. Race wide rounding the turn into the front straight. 8 Jaydo’s Jet – no report.

2 Zabdon Opium- collided with another runner in the front straight on the 1^st occasion and was checked.

3 Hoof It Hank- tightened and checked shortly after start. Shifted in and made contact with the running rail approaching the turn out of the front straight and again rounding the turn out of the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have bruising to its near hind leg and was stood down from racing for 5 days.
4 Rosdue Kirra- tightened and checked shortly after start. Commenced to give ground entering the back straight when appeared to be injured and finished a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to have fractured its off hind Hock, as it was a catastrophic injury the greyhound was humanely euthanized.
5 Fire Drill- tightened and checked shortly after start.
6 Talgai Warrior- tightened and checked shortly after start. Checked rounding the turn out of the front straight.
7 Gold Talks- tightened and checked shortly after start.
