General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Spring Moon Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

2 Banjo Lad Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

4 Cabernet Merlot Checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground.

5 Meet Mr. Kobe Ran wide in the back straight.

6 Winlock Power Checked off heels at the first turn.

7 Bag Of Pearls Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

2 Irish Banjo Checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

4 National Cheer Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

5 Farmor Super Dry Checked shortly after the start and lost ground. Checked in the back straight and lost ground.

6 Peekaboo Pearl Severely checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to suffering a laceration to the greyhounds off hind leg and stood down for 10 days.

7 Tunnel Digger Shifted off heels in the back straight and ran wide.

8 My Purple Rain Checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

2 Rosdue Lunar Slow to begin.

4 Inga Alfie Shifted out in the back straight and bumped another runner to its outside..

5 Celtic Dream   Bumped by another runner at the end of the back straight.

7 Gas Powered Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

8 Gun's Son Ran wide in the back straight.

10/6 Tyrant Duck Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

1 Cawbourne Bonnie Bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

2 Cheeky Nando Checked at the first turn and lost ground. 

3 Hotel California Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

4 Bunya Beauty Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

6 Burns Like Gas Checked at the first turn and lost ground.  Checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

7 Cut Flash Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

Race 5 - GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON BEST 8 431m

1 Cage To Rattle Clipped from behind in the back straight and lost ground.

2 Sweet Ella Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.

3 Spring Wattle Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Improved on the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground.

4 Chewing Shoes Checked shortly after the start and lost ground.  Shifted out and ran wide for remainder of the event.

7 Eli Red Fawn Checked at the entrance of the back straight.

8 Spring Rock Severely checked at the entrance of the back straight and lost ground.

Race 6 - ADVENTURE TOURISM AUSTRALIA MIXED 4/5 431m

1 Danyo's Lozza Gave ground from the back straight and took no competitive part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering no apparent injuries.  Under rule 71(1) (unsatisfactory performance) stewards ordered that the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to nominating for a future event.

4 Outback Mandrake Checked at the first turn and lost ground

6 Flying September Checked at the first turn and lost ground.

8 Sugar Hit Tyler Checked at the first turn and lost ground

9/3 Tick Fire Boom  Checked at the first turn and lost ground

Race 7 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

2 Open My Mail Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

4 Talgai Warrior Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.  Checked at the first turn.

5 Silent Talk Shifted out at the end of the front straight.

6 Slade Checked off heels at the end of the front straight.

7 Hara's Smokey Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

8 Mini Sox Checked at the end of the front straight and lost ground.  Checked at the first turn and lost ground.   Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

Race 8 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

2 Townson Beach Checked at the turn after the back straight and lost ground.
