Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Quick Flick – Shifted out and collided with another runner entering the back straight and took no

further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury

sustained to the off shoulder. Additionally, the greyhound was charged under GAR 69B ‘Failure to

Pursue with Injury’ which requires the greyhound to be stood down for the duration of its injury and

will need to complete a field trial before returning to racing.

2 Werina By Chance – Collided with another runner through the turn into the back straight.

Checked by another runner through the turn into the home straight.

3 Bye Clown Town – Collided with another runner through the turn into the back straight.

4 Flying Paterson – Collided with another runner entering the back straight and took no further

competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

5 Euroa China – Best to begin. Checked by another runner entering the back straight.

6 Peekaboo Pearl – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start

7 Frosty Girl – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Hampered by another runner

approaching the turn into the back straight. Checked by another runner through the turn into the

home straight.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

1 Sparkling Melba – Hampered rounding the turn into the back straight.

4 Anfield Girl - Hampered rounding the turn into the back straight.

5 Slug's Slug – Shortly after the start the greyhound turned its head inwards in anticipation of

sighting the lure. After reviewing the race footage, the stewards weren’t comfortably satisfied the

greyhound had offended under any rule. Hampered by another runner entering the back straight.

6 Hombre Duck – Bumped by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. Clipped the

heels of another runner in the back straight.

7 Deb's Blue Boy - Bumped by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight. Hampered 

by another runner exiting the back straight. Checked  by another runner entering the front straight.

8 Another Echo - Shortly after the start the greyhound turned its head inwards in anticipation of

sighting the lure. After reviewing the race footage, the stewards weren’t comfortably satisfied the

greyhound had offended under any rule. Hampered by another runner entering the back straight.

3 Blue Belly Black – Shifted out and collided with multiple runners immediately after the start.

Raced wide in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

4 Burning Jim – Checked by another runner shortly after the start. Bumped by another runner

rounding the turn into the back straight.

5 Ringbark Bound – Tightened for room and checked by another runner shortly after the start.

7 My Bro Benji – Checked by another runner shortly after the start.

8 Tyrant Duck – Checked by another runner shortly after the start.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

3 Huckles – Slow to begin. Checked by another runner entering the back straight and lost ground.

5 Team Austria – Checked by another runner through the turn into the back straight. Checked by

another runner entering the back straight and lost ground.

6 Celtic Dream – Checked by another runner entering the back straight and lost ground.

7 Duck Inn – Checked by another runner through the turn into the back straight.

8 Cheeky Nando – Hampered by another runner entering the home straight.

Race 5 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

2 Passing Nova – Clipped the heels of another runner entering the back straight and lost ground.

3 Aston Ajax - Bumped by another runner entering the home straight.

4 Kravitz – Was contacted on the hindquarters by another runner exiting the front

straight.

5 Dodgy Kell – Bumped by another runner entering the home straight.

6 In And Out – Severely checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight and

lost ground.

7 Canya Kick – Checked by another runner exiting the front straight. Hampered by another runner

rounding the turn into the back straight.

2 Girl Like Her – Tightened for room shortly after the start, was checked and lost ground

4 Khandela – Bumped by another runner exiting the front straight.

5 Pearlie Queen – Clipped the heels of another runner exiting the front straight.

6 Walloon Moo – Bumped with another runner exiting the front straight. A post-race veterinary

examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards discussed with Mr. Page the performance of the

greyhound in the concluding stages and Mr. Page stated he was not impressed with the

greyhound’s performance and it will be the last attempt over this distance. The greyhound will be

returning to racing a shorter distance in the future.

Race 7 - GJ WALSH & CO MIXED 4/5 431m

1 Vegas Talks – Hampered by another entering the back straight and lost ground.

2 Lady Surprise – Tightened and checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back

straight and lost ground.

3 Big Pom – Checked by another runner entering the back straight and lost ground.

4 Just Gary – Hampered by another runner entering the back straight.

5 Just In Time – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start.

6 Deneholme Dasher – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start.

Race 8 - TAB BEST 8 431m

3 Cage To Rattle – Shifted out and checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight.

5 Chewing Shoes – Checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground.

7 Spring Rock – Clipped the heels of another runner exiting the back straight.
