Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m
2 Slug's Slug – bumped shortly after the start. Shifted out across heels through the first turn and lost ground. Shifted outwards when rounding the turn into the home straight, turned its head, and then made muzzle contact with Beachcomber. Stewards advised trainer Ronald Newland that Slug’s Slug would be stood down from racing at Ipswich for 28 days under the provisions of R69 for Marring and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing.
3 Hopeful Bill – bumped shortly after the start. Shifted inwards through the first turn hampering another runner before bumping the running rail, was checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Hombre Duck – tightened for room, bumped, and lost ground shortly after the start.
5 Dianne's Boy – bumped heavily with another runner at the start, was severely checked, and lost ground, then bumped with another runner shortly after. Took an awkward stride over the concluding stages, shifted inwards and bumped with another runner, and was momentarily hampered. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
6 Mystery Duck – bumped shortly after the start.
7 Manfred – blundered at the start and was very slow to begin.
8 Beachcomber – took an awkward stride when entering the back straight, then shifted outwards to continue racing wide through the back straight and into the turn, again taking several more awkward strides. Marred by Slug’s Slug when rounding the turn into the home straight, checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m
1 Crazy Duck – shifted outwards when entering the first turn and collided heavily with another runner and lost ground. Steadied off heels momentarily when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
3 Cockney Pride – marginally slow to begin, then shortly after the start bumped with another runner and lost ground. Shifted outwards through the first turn and bumped with another runner becoming awkward and subsequently losing ground.
4 Zulu Smile – collided heavily with another runner, which shifted outwards when entering the first turn, checked and lost ground. Bumped with another runner through the first turn, was severely checked, and lost considerable ground. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
5 Spring Leela – checked off heels when leaving the back straight and lost ground.

1 Zabal Chariot – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn. Tightened for room and took the turn out of the back straight awkwardly and subsequently lost ground.
2 Riewoldt – tightened for room, severely checked, and fell through first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
3 Zulu Thunder – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
4 My Dark Lorian – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
6 Seas Command – tightened for room, hampered, and lost ground through the first turn.
7 Hashtag Deja Vu – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
8 Exciting Duck – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
Race 4 - DOVER & SONS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m
1 Rocky Ned – tightened for room, galloped on the heels by another runner, checked, and lost ground through the first turn. Tightened for room, bumped, and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
4 Rosdue Barbosa – bumped and momentarily hampered through first turn and lost ground.
6 Shian Dawn – slow to begin. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground through the first turn.
7 Diamond Tina – bumped with Kechi at the start, was checked, and lost ground. Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground.
8 Kechi – bumped with Diamond Tina at the start, was checked, and lost ground. Shifted inwards abruptly through first turn, improved onto the heels of other runners, was checked, and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 5 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (1) 431m
1 Farmor Super Dry – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground through the first turn.
2 Ruby's Son – tightened for room, was severely checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
3 Just Amazed – tightened for room through the first turn, was severely checked after being galloped on, almost fell, and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Allonsy To Paris – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
6 Spring Balto – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground through the first turn. Checked off heels when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
7 Catch Me Katie – tightened for room, checked, and lost considerable ground through the first turn.
8 Until Late – marginally slow to begin.
