8 Shian Dawn – Checked in the 1^st turn. Bumped leaving the top turn.

Race 2 - Sky Racing Maiden Heat 2 Maiden 431m

2 Expat Corsair – Clipped heels entering the back straight.

3 Pop Smoke – Shifted out and checked another runner on numerous occasions in the 1^st turn.

4 Jackie's Star – Bumped in the top turn.

5 Rather Snazzy – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.

7 Manuka Duck – Checked on numerous occasions and became unbalanced in the 1^st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

8 Malachi – Best away. Clipped heels and raced wide in the top turn.

9 Shian Gypsy (6) – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked in the 1^st turn.
