Race 1 - TAB Long May We Play Maiden Heat 1 Maiden 431m

1 Frosty Girl- Checked leaving the 1^st turn.

2 Busted Axel – Bumped shortly after the start.

3 Patched – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked leaving the 1^st turn.

4 Panorama – Checked in the 1^st turn.

5 Spring Baron – Checked leaving the 1^st turn

6 Mia Moo Moo – Checked in the 1^st turn. Checked leaving the 1^st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a chest muscle injury and stood down for 10 days. A secondary veterinary examination was conducted and found a offside hock injury, stood down for 21 days. On course vet administered pain relief and advised trainer to seek further veterinary care tomorrow.  Advise stewards of any results of further veterinary care.

Update 27/01/2021 – Mr Johnstone advised stewards that after seeking a private veterinary examination x-rays showed a fracture to the offside hock and surgery was the best course of action which would take place today. Recovery time was estimated to be 4 months and a high likely hood to return to racing.

3 Where's The Star – Checked approaching the 1^st turn. Checked in the 1^st turn. Clipped heels entering the back straight.

5 Ouzo Boy – Checked approaching the 1^st turn. Checked in the 1^st turn.

6 Sweet Gal – Checked approaching the 1^st turn. Checked entering the back straight.

6 Lord Lorian – Bumped shortly after the start. Turned head outwards but did not make muzzle contact rounding the turn into the front straight and in the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Charged with R69A Failing to Pursue 1^st offence, 1 stewards trial, and 28 days at Ipswich.

7 Oscar Sinclair – Bumped approaching the turn into the front straight.

8 Celtic Legend – Marginally slow away. Raced wide in the back straight.

1 Hidden Places – Slipped on the mat coming out of the boxes. Checked in the 1^st turn. Checked leaving the 1^st turn. Bumped approaching the finishing line. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

2 Blazing Bobby - Hit the running rail in the top turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

1 Money Spinner – Checked and became unbalanced in the 1^st turn. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Turned head outwards but did not make muzzle contact in the front straight. Charged under R69A Failing to Pursue 2^nd offence 3 months 1 steward’s trial.

2 Cool Hand Luke – Checked in the 1^st turn.

5 It's A Rush – Checked in the 1^st turn. Bumped in the top turn. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight.

6 Super Tie – Checked in the 1^st turn.

7 We Get It - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Secondary veterinary examination found an injury to the nearside wrist and stood down for 7 days.
