3 Galway Avatar – slow to begin.

4 Lady Meringue – eased when crowded approaching the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious injuries. Stood down from racing under Rule 71 for an Unsatisfactory performance and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to race.

5 Shoe's Lips – shifted out and bumped another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. Bumped with another runner in the run to the finish.

7 Mabel Moo Moo – checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Bumped with another runner in the run to the finish.

4 Jake's Boy – shifted out shortly after the start. checked through the first turn. Raced wide for the majority of the event. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off hind foot and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
