Race 5 - CHASE NEWSPAPER GRADE 5 (1) 431m

3 Diesel's Charlie A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near hind back muscle, 28 days stand down from racing and satisfactory stewards trial required. Trainer P Furbank informed stewards he would consider retiring the greyhound from racing.

7 Talk It Up Checked off heels leaving the turn into the home straight.

8 Paua Of Bondi Clipped heels and took an awkward stride over the middle stage of the home straight.
