General: During the running of Race 1 a part of the squeaker became detached from the lure passing the 288m boxes, after reviewing all available footage of the race stewards determined that the incident had no material effect on the outcome of the race. Following the incident modifications were made to the lure and it was tested successfully prior to the running of the next event.

9 (3) Jackie's Star Severely checked and lost balance leaving the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side hock (tarsal fracture), 12 weeks stand down from racing, veterinary clearance and satisfactory completion of a steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.
