Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

3 Zada Bumped shortly after the start. Checked off heels and shifted out bumping with another runner leaving the turn into the back straight.

4 Willow Springs Bumped shortly after the start.

5 Casually Cool Slow to begin. Checked leaving the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injuries.

7 Farmor Jag's Bumped shortly after the start.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

3 Lucius Malfoy Checked leaving the turn into the back straight.

4 Sunset Shadow Checked leaving the turn into the back straight.

7 Rab Ruadh Jimmy Shifted out and ran wide over the back straight. Shifted out and Improved upon the heels of Hypo Duck and lost balance leaving the turn into the home straight.

7 Red Wish Turned its head inwards and shifted in shortly after the start. Checked entering the turn into the back straight. Visibly eased and stopped entering the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to trainer P Shaxton regarding the greyhounds racing matters in the back straight. After viewing the video footage acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A) Red Wish was suspended from racing for 28 days at Ipswich and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

1 Camino Angel Checked leaving the turn into the back straight.

4 Deb's Desire Bumped entering the turn into the back straight.

6 Farmor Bangs Bumped entering the turn into the back straight.

7 Farmor Rowdy Bumped entering the turn into the back straight.

Race 5 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 431m

1 Spring Balto Bumped shortly after the start.

2 Possibly Premium Bumped shortly after the start.

4 Fast Burner Checked leaving the turn into the back straight.

6 Slippery Duck Late scratching (TAB 3:32pm) A pre-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near hind fibula, 21 days stand down from racing.

9 Purple Flirt (3) Bumped shortly after the start. Checked leaving the turn into the back straight.

2 Bailey Shifted in and bumped on several occasions approaching the finish. Stewards questioned licenced trainer P O’reilly regarding the actions of Bailey over the final stages of the race. After reviewing all the available evidence, stewards decided on this occasion to give the greyhound the benefit of the doubt.
