General: Stewards delayed the all clear for race 8 to review the race footage concerning the distance of the lure from the lead greyhound. Stewards reviewed the video footage and were comfortable satisfied that no greyhound was disadvantaged by the position of the lure during the event and had no adverse effect on the outcome of the race, therefore the all clear was given.

Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

1 Drop Of Jam – Bumped another runner leaving the front straight. Checked leaving the back straight. Bumped another runner entering the home straight.

2 Oh So Bro – Checked another runner shortly after the start. Bumped another runner entering the home straight.

3 Glittering Jazzy – Checked shortly after the start.

6 Double Steel – Raced in restricted racing room leaving the home straight first occasion and was checked losing ground. Checked off heels entering the home straight.

7 Cincinati Cyndie – Checked leaving the back straight losing ground. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 He's So Dashing – A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured near side triceps (pin) strain and was stood down from racing for a period of ten (10) days.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

1 Cool Hand Rick – Raced greenly in the home straight first occasion.

3 Black No Sugar – Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Severely checked by another runner leaving the home straight. Raced wide leaving the home straight on the 1^st occasion straight. Shifted out abruptly approaching the winning post. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to the trainer Kim Shedden regarding the greyhound’s actions. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Black No Sugar had turned its head and ran outwardly before the winning post taking its attention away from the lure therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(1) Fail to Pursue 1st offence – Twenty-eight (28) days stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory trail prior to racing next.

5 Glittering Gaby – Severely checked by another runner leaving the home straight, losing ground.

6 Cincinnati Bill – Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Severely checked by another runner leaving the home straight, losing ground. Checked off heels entering the home straight.

7 Bimini Twist - Severely checked by another runner leaving the home straight and checked again entering the back straight, losing ground.

8 Six Schooners - Severely checked by another runner leaving the home straight.

2 Triple Bogey – Severely checked entering the back straight, losing ground. Checked off heels entering the home straight, checking another runner. Raced wide in the home straight.

3 Union Surprise – Checked off heels entering the back straight, Shifted out and dragged was down from behind by another runner.

4 Shian Dawn - Severely checked entering the back straight.

5 Disney Cool - Severely checked entering the back straight. Raced wide back straight and again in home straight.

6 Little Shelly – Checked by another runner entering the back straight.

7 Aerobic System – Checked entering the back straight. Tightened for racing room leaving the back straight and was checked losing ground.

8 Pretty Witch – Raced wide in the back straight.

Race 4 -DOVER & SONS NOVICE 2 520m

1 Suite Nita – Hung out leaving the home straight first occasion inconveniencing another runner. Checked entering the back straight. Raced wide home straight.

3 Petite Swagger – Checked leaving the home straight.

4 Glittering Zac – Checked and carried wider leaving the home straight. Raced wide back straight.

5 Ain't That Lucky – Checked leaving the home straight, losing ground. Raced in restricted racing room leaving the back straight and improved on to heels losing ground.

6 Balciano – Checked shortly after the start. Checked leaving the home straight.

7 Tough As Steel – Checked shortly after the start. Raced wide leaving the home straight.

8 Side Tracked – Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight. Raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

Race 5 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Zabdon La Miesha – Eased in its racing action passing the winning post on the 1st occasion losing ground. Bumped another runner entering the 1^st turn and eased passing the catching pen. Raced wide in the home straight. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to the trainer Lawrence Topping regarding the greyhound’s actions. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Zabdon La Miesha had eased in its racing action two (2) occasions in the event taking its attention away from the lure therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(a) Fail to Pursue 1st offence – Twenty-eight (28) days stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory trail prior to racing next.

4 Shian Huey – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner entering the back straight, then raced wide in the back straight.

1 Hidden Ripple – Checked entering the back straight. Improved on heels of another runner leaving the back straight, losing ground. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured near side triceps (pin) strain and was stood down from racing for a period of ten (10) days.

2 Jackie's Star – Bumped another runner shortly after the start.

3 Night Shift – Bumped another runner shortly after the start.

7 Power Moves – Bumped another runner shortly after the start.

8 He's Nosey – Bumped another runner shortly after the start. Raced wide entering the back straight.

Race 7 - GJ WALSH & CO 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Polarising – Raced in restricted racing room leaving the back straight.

2 Hear The Bells – Checked leaving the back straight, losing ground.

3 Ebony Jay – Tightened for racing room leaving the back straight. Checked losing ground.

4 Busted Axel – Checked leaving the home straight. Dragged down from behind by another runner entering the home straight, losing ground.

5 Sparkling Melba – Checked leaving the back straight, losing ground.

6 Bill's Out – Raced wide leaving the home straight. Improved on to heels of another runner entering the home straight.

7 Jackie's Big Boy – Raced wide leaving the home turn and in the back straight and again in the home straight.

8 Mac's A Million – Raced wide for majority of the race.

1 Mojo Espresso – Bumped another runner entering the home straight first occasion. Bumped another runner entering the home straight final occasion. Raced wide in the home straight.

3 Oxley Pleasure – Bumped another runner entering the home straight first occasion. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to the trainer Darren Johnstone regarding Oxley Pleasure’s performance over the concluding stages. Trainer Darren Johnstone in his opinion Oxley Pleasure did not run out the 630m and the greyhound would be kept to shorter distance in the future. Trainer Darren Johnstone stated he would trial Oxley Pleasure over 600m at Albion Park before starting Oxley Pleasure over a staying distance again. 

5 Fire Bandit – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the back straight and again in the front straight. Bumped another runner entering the home straight final occasion.

7 Underwater – Raced wide in the home straight first occasion.

Race 9 – TAB MIXED 4/5 2 431m

1 High Torque – Checked shortly after the start.

2 Tracy's Shadow – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Lime Rock Park – Checked shortly after the start. Raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

4 Inner Tea Cup – Checked shortly after the start. Checked by another runner in the back straight, losing ground.

5 Spring Tina – Checked shortly after the start.

7 Spring Chip – Checked off heals entering the back straight. Raced wide in the back straight.

8 Buck Or Two – Raced wide in the back straight.
