General: Trainer M Evans was reprimanded under GAR 101(2)(b) for permitting an unlicensed person to handle his greyhound on a racecourse.

1 Good Chat Mort – Into the 1^st turn improved on heels. 2 Destiny Duck – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked, a short distance later appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside fore metacarpal and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 6 Uncle Charlie – Raced wide for the entire event. 8 Grace Me – Raced wide for the entire event.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m
1 Farmor Passion – Through the 1^st turn was checked, in the home straight was inconvenienced. 2 Lucky Elephant – Through the 1^st turn was momentarily inconvenienced. 3 Rita's Duck – Slow to begin. 4 Come On Georgie – Through the 1^st turn looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days and would need to complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Trainer K Murnane advised stewards it would be his intention to retire the greyhound. 5 Red River – Through the 1^st turn was checked. 6 Mine – Through the 1^st turn was checked. 8 Austrian Eagle – Raced wide throughout the event.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 21 days. 4 Scriven – Shortly after the start suffered interference, approaching the back turn was checked. 5 Let's Go Eris – Shortly after the start suffered interference. 6 Farmor Rowdy – Slow to begin, shortly after was bumped becoming unbalanced. 8 First Slip - Approaching the back turn was tightened and severely checked.
