General: - 15 September 2021 – Stewards followed up with trainer Brent Kline regarding Off Setter who was injured in R4 the trainer advised that greyhound will be having surgery later in the day.

Race 1 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Rosdue Tyson - Checked on the first turn, checked approaching the back straight.

2 Lone Beauty - Checked on the first turn, checked approaching home turn.

3 Sunset Shadow - Checked on the first turn.

4 Swift Zach - Checked on the first turn.

5 Buccan Bail - Checked approaching the back straight, faulted in its action and gave ground in the back straight. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6 Let's Go Rose - Checked on the first turn, checked approaching the back straight.

7 Drop Of Jam - Checked on the first turn, checked approaching the back straight.

8 Our Satin Rose - Checked on the first turn, severely checked approaching the back straight.  A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

1 Media Rights – Checked entering the back straight.

2 Which Witch - A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Dianna Buxton regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the back straight and approaching the home turn. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Which Witch had eased, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(A) Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Farmor Zeal – Checked entering the back straight.

5 Twins Brother – Checked shortly after the start, checked entering the back straight.

6 Galway Glider – Checked entering the first turn, checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight.

7 One Rose – Checked shortly after the start, checked rounding the first turn.

8 Burning Cricket – Checked shortly after the start, checked rounding the first turn, severely checked entering the back straight. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - DOVER & SONS MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 431m

1 Dirty Martini – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Swift Anna – Inconvenienced soon after the start.

4 Dahomey Sirocco – Checked and fell soon after the start. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mickey Mclennan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. After viewing the video footage and considered submissions from the trainer. Stewards deemed the greyhound had turned its head outwards making contact with another runner. Therefore, Steward’s invoked GAR 69(1) marring 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Double Steel – Checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight, raced wide around the home turn, marred by another runner on the home turn.

6 Gossamer Wings – Checked off heels soon after the start, checked rounding the first turn.

7 Rosdue Swagman – Checked rounding the first turn, taken wide on the home turn by another runner.

8 Farmor Uproar – Checked rounding the first turn.

1 Galway Anne – Suffered interference shortly after the start.

2 Winged Dominance – Slow out, checked on the first turn, checked approaching the home turn.

3 Rosdue Kaique – Suffered interference shortly after the start.

4 Zulu Cougar – Suffered interference shortly after the start.

6 Hunter's Gold – Suffered interference shortly after the start.

7 Off Setter – Suffered interference shortly after the start, checked entering the back straight, checked and fell entering the home turn. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a serious injury to the near foreleg, the greyhound has been bandaged and given pain relief and is to be taken to West Vets for further assessment, the incident will be referred to the injury review panel.

8 Flying Layla – Suffered interference shortly after the start, checked and fell approaching the home turn.  A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 5 - BEENLEIGH LEGAL NOVICE (2) 431m

1 Dahomey Solana – Checked entering the back straight, bumped with another runner entering the home straight, bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

2 Willow Springs – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked entering the back straight.

4 Harlan Marlin – Checked off heels soon after the start, soon after bumped with another runner, checked entering the back straight.

5 Lone Munster – Checked approaching the home turn.

6 Ritza Rebel – Checked approaching the home turn.

7 Maywyn Idris - Bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

8 Grace's Secret – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen which revealed no significant findings.

9 (3) Tough As Steel - Checked off heels soon after the start, checked entering the back straight, checked off heels entering the home straight.

1 Side Tracked – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn, raced wide in the back straight.

4 Disney Cool – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked on the first turn, checked in the back straight, raced wide in the back straight

5 Bororen Mate – Slow out.

6 Cheeky Willow – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn, taken wide in the back straight by another runner.

7 Contessa Maywyn – Checked on the first turn, checked in the back straight, checked, approaching the home turn, raced wide in the back straight.
