General: Due to a mechanical issue with the 431m boxes, all races from the 431m were manually started for today’s races.

Stewards followed up with trainer Wayne Scott regarding Farmor Fanatic who was injured at today’s event. Mr Scott advised that the greyhound had been treated at West vets after reviewing all possible options the greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 288m

3 Farmor Fanatic – Severely checked approaching the first turn and took no further part in the event. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a serious injury to the off foreleg, the greyhound has been treated and is to be taken to West Vets for further assessment, the incident will be referred to the injury review panel.

4 Glen Gavan – Slow to begin.

6 Boxing On – Checked and lost ground approaching the first turn.

7 Zulu Finesse – Raced wide in the home straight.

8 Jury's Out – Checked approaching the first turn.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 288m

2 Heslea – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

3 Where's The Nova – Checked approaching the first turn, raced wide rounding the home turn and in the home straight.

6 Fred's Flame – Checked approaching the first turn.

8 This Time Tessie – Checked approaching the first turn.

9 Hunter's Gold (4) – Checked approaching the first turn. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

1 King's Joy – Dragged down from behind approaching the first turn.

2 Chasing Bucks – Checked approaching the first turn.

3 Be Serious – Bumped with another runner on several occasions in the home straight.

4 Six Schooners – Taken wide on the home turn by another runner, raced wide in the home straight.

5 Red Dress – Bumped with another runner on several occasions in the home straight.

7 Little Sash – Checked in the back straight, bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

8 Ticket Collector – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

2 Chase A Lot – Inconvenienced in the back straight.

1 Out Of Line – Checked on the first turn, checked off heels entering the back straight.

3 Ear Piercing – Bumped with another runner on the first turn.

4 Grace's Secret – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked and lost ground entering the home turn.

5 Corowa Tiger – Bumped with another runner soon after the start.

6 Heart Of Mine – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, bumped with another runner on the first turn, checked entering the home turn, bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Cake Is Good – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked off heels rounding the home turn.

8 Little Shelly – Checked entering the back straight.

10 Spring Balto (2) – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 6 - BEENLEIGH LEGAL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 431m

1 Cake Is Nice – Collided with another runner approaching the first turn.

2 Saltarello - A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Drew Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing actions over the concluding stages. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Saltarello had eased, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(A) Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Jackie's Star – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, collided with another runner on the first turn.

5 Ruby's Son – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, bumped with another runner on the first turn.

6 There's A Shadow – Bumped with another runner soon after the start.

7 Willow Springs – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked on the first turn, checked off heels entering the home straight.

8 Friend Or Foe – Gave ground in the back straight. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have an off foreleg injury and has been stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 7 - BODHI INK TATTOO GALLERY 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 431m

2 Tough As Teak – Checked off heels in the back straight.

4 Fernando Holly – Checked entering the back straight and took no further part in the event. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to an offside shoulder injury and has been stood down from racing for 21 days.

5 Bunya Beauty – Checked entering the back straight, checked off heels approaching the second turn.

6 Timmy Martin - Slow to begin, checked rounding the first turn, inconvenienced entering the back straight.

7 Let's Go Eris - Inconvenienced entering the back straight.

1 High Lighter – Bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

2 Horsburgh – Bumped with another runner on several occasions soon after the start and rounding the first turn, faulted in its action in the back straight and lost ground. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a near hind back muscle injury and has been stood down from racing for 21 days.

3 Ringbark Cutie – Checked entering the back straight, bumped with another runner entering the home straight, checked off heels in the home straight.

4 Alarm Response - Bumped with another runner a number of occasions soon after the start, checked on the first turn.

7 This Time Talks - Bumped with another runner a number of occasions soon after the start and rounding the first turn, raced wide in the back straight.

8 Point To Point - Bumped with another runner a number of a number occasions soon after the start and rounding the first turn.

10 Ron's Brother (5) - Bumped with another runner a number of occasions soon after the start, checked on the first turn.
