Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Charlie Rubble – Checked shortly after the start by another runner.

2 Galway Clancy – Bumped shortly after the start. Severely checked entering the back straight, losing ground. Wide in the home straight.

3 Mickey My Boy - Bumped shortly after the start.

4 Trixie Rigatoni – Took attention away from the lure shortly after the start checking another runner. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer         S Lawrance regarding the greyhound’s actions. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered

submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Trixie Rigatoni had turned

its head outwardly taking its attention away from the lure therefore stewards invoked GAR 69A Fail

to Pursue 1st offence. Trixie Rigatoni was stood down from racing at Ipswich for a period of 28days and

must complete one (1) satisfactory steward’s trial before racing again.

8 Farmor Jag's – Wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

1 Mustang Henry – Checked shortly after the start.

2 Bellissimo Blue – Slow to begin. Raced in restricted racing room entering the back straight, checked losing ground. Bumped another runner entering the home straight.

4 Danni's On Fire - Checked shortly after the start. Contacted the running rail leaving the back straight, losing ground. Bumped another runner entering the home straight. A subsequent post-race

veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Bow Girl - Checked shortly after the start. Improved on to heels entering the back straight, losing ground. Raced roughly for a few strides. Wide in the back straight and again in the home straight. Severely checked when another runner contacted the running rail, losing ground. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Farmor Wary - Checked shortly after the start.

8 Twins Brother – Improved on to heels shortly after the start and again entering the back straight, becoming off balanced and stumbling a few short strides losing ground. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hock injury and has been stood down from racing for a period of twenty-eight (28) days.

1 Townson Beach - Checked shortly after the start by another runner, losing ground. Faulted in its action for a few strides. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 She's Hot Gossip - Checked shortly after the start by another runner. Wide in the home straight.

3 Ringbark Cutie – Severely checked shortly after the start by another runner, losing ground.

5 Juliette Keats – Raced in restricted racing room entering the back straight, checked, losing ground, In the home straight Juliette Keats took its attention away from the lure. A subsequent post veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured a chest muscle and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days. Stewards spoke to trainer G Hall regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After viewing the video footage, the trainer’s submission and the veterinary report, stewards invoked GAR 69B(1)(a) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). The greyhound must complete a trial to the satisfaction of the stewards prior to racing but only after the ten (10) day stand down period has expired.

7 Pirata – Checked entering the back straight, losing ground. Checked by another runner in the home straight.

3 Maximum Ivy – Improved on to heels entering the back straight, checked, losing ground. Over the concluding stages Maximum Ivy made muzzle contact with Babylon Boomers. A subsequent post veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to the trainer N Evans regarding the greyhound’s actions. Stewards reviewed the video footage and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report and acting under the provisions GAR 69(2)(c) Maximum Ivy was suspended from racing for a period of twelve (12) months at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory steward’s trial before racing next as this was the greyhound’s third (3^rd) offence under this rule. Trainer N Evans stated that Maximum Ivy would now be retired from racing.
