RACE 1 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 520M

2 Bimini Twist – Checked in the first turn.

3 Maywyn A Cracker – Checked off heels in the front straight.

4 Hopeful Lana – Checked leaving the back straight.

7 Hopeful Hope – A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer’s representative B Elson reported that they were expecting a forward showing tonight and they had supported the bitch and they were disappointed in the performance. Stewards will contact Trainer C Elson in the ensuing days in relation to tonight’s performance.

RACE 2 - TAB IPSWICH GOLD CUP (G2) HEAT 1 OPEN 520M

1 Love Game – Bumped entering the back straight.

2 He's Nosey – Slow to begin.

5 Street Cry – Slow to begin. Checked leaving the back straight.

6 Indictment – Bumped and carried wider rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its chest muscle and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

RACE 3 - TAB IPSWICH GOLD CUP (G2) HEAT 2 OPEN 520M

2 Flying Jet – Faltered shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained any injury to its near hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for twenty-eight (28) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. 

3 Wild Emerald – Faltered rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down for eight (8) weeks. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer Brett Hazelgrove advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the North Lakes Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

4 Enthusiastic – Checked in the first turn.

6 Kooringa Lucy – Slow to begin. Bumped and carried wider rounding the first turn.

RACE 4 - TAB IPSWICH GOLD CUP (G2) HEAT 3 OPEN 520M

1 Out Of Champagne – Checked in the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Carried wider into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

2 Extra Malt – Bumped rounding the turn into the back straight.

3 Fernando Blaze – Slow to begin. Tightened approaching the first turn. Bumped rounding the turn into the back straight.

7 See Them Try – Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Raced wide rounding the home turn and in the home straight.

8 Special Cyndie – Checked off heels rounding the first turn.

7 Luminosity – Checked in the first turn.

3 Lala Sister Girl – Bumped in the front straight. Severely checked in the first turn.

4 Farmor Beach – Tightened in the front straight. Severely checked, became unbalanced and almost fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

6 Security Code – Tightened rounding the home turn.

8 Savage Victor – Checked in the first turn.

2 Cash View – Slow to begin. Crossed wide shortly after the start. Severely checked in the first turn.

6 Micks Recall – Checked in the first turn. Raced wide in the back straight.

8 I'm Explosive – Severely checked in the first turn.

1 Spring Cleo – Lost ground entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off hind back muscle and was stood down for twenty-eight (28) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. 

2 Unique Maurice – Slow to begin. Checked in the first turn.

4 Magical Hope – Slow to begin. Checked in the first turn. Checked in the back straight.

6 Davey Fawner – Checked through the first turn.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down for eight (8) weeks. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer Darren Johnstone advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Brisbane Pet Surgery for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

7 Coolraddo – Checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near back muscle and was stood down for twenty-eight (28) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
