Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN (1) 431m

1 Farmor Jag's – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn checked across heels.

2 Mohawk Miss – Began awkwardly, approaching the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its offside hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

4 Boxing On – Slow to begin, into 1^st turn was inconvenienced. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

6 Farmor Bends – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

9 (5) Soft Steel – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked, through the 1^st turn checked across heels.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431m

1 One Shot – Into the 1^st turn made contact with the running rail, entering the back straight checked across heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Sam Wilson – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was held up for clear running when racing in restricted room.

3 Mojo's Redeemer – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked.

4 Mine – Shortly after the start was checked, into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

5 Mia Moo Moo - Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

7 Bow Girl – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its offside hip support and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

3 Final Assassin – Into the 1^st turn was tightened between runners.

5 Dirty Martini – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, from rounding the home turn until the end of the event was inconvenienced and forced wider by Like The Wind.

6 Like The Wind – Slow to begin, through the back turn was tightened. Rounding the home turn shifted out bumping Dirty Martini, entering the home straight and until the end of the event took its attention away from the lure. Stewards spoke to trainer Steve Woods regarding the greyhound’s actions rounding the home turn and again in the home straight. After reviewing the video replay the submissions from the Mr Woods and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Like The Wind had turned its head outwards towards Dirti Martini taking its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 69A Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Like The Wind was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until completing a satisfactory trial.

8 Scraggy Sinclair – Through the 1^st turn improved onto heels.

9 (7) Zulu Vamp – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

2 Spring Gault – Into the back turn was severely checked almost falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Spring Lilli – Into the back turn was severely checked almost falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Winged Dominance – Through the back turn improved onto heels, into the back was checked.

6 Look No Hands – Slow to begin, approaching the back turn was checked.

7 Crimson Camellia – Through the 1^st was checked, into the back turn was checked.

8 Wild Eyes – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and inconvenienced, into the back turn checked.

Race 5 - BEENLEIGH LEGAL 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 431m

1 Zabdon Adesanya – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

2 Farmor Alfa's – Into the 1^st turn was checked, leaving the 1^st turn checked across heels. Into the back turn was checked.

3 Luna Wave – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the back turn improved onto heels.

4 Daphne Moo Moo – Slow to begin.

5 Dark Angel – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Unlimited Blitz – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

3 She's Hot Gossip – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its offside fore dew claw and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

4 Ringbark Ruby – Shortly after the start was tightened.

5 Flying Yuna – Shortly after the start was tightened, into the back turn was checked.

6 Slick Werina – Approaching the back turn made contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its nearside hind leg and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

7 Ron's Brother – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, into the back turn was checked.

9 (8) Dynamite Travis – Into the 1^st turn was bumped becoming unbalanced.

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 520m

5 Super Tie – Shortly after the start was bumped becoming unbalanced.

6 State Of Rage – Raced wide for the entire event.

7 Cake Is Good – Slow to begin, took the 1^st turn wide.

8 Out Of Line – Took the 1^st turn wider.

Race 10 - GJ WALSH & CO 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 431m

2 Disney Cool – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was improved onto heels and was severely checked.

4 Juliette Keats – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

6 Billy Bottaluchi - Into the 1^st turn was tightened and severely checked a stride later was galloped on falling as a result taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its nearside foreleg and was stood down from racing for 12 weeks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

This matter will be referred to the injury review panel.

7 Alpha Mania – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, through the back improved on heels and was checked.

8 Werina On Fire – Into the 1^st turn was checked, leaving the 1^st turn was bumped becoming unbalanced.
