General:  Following the completion of R9 Trainer P Carrington lodged a complaint regarding the actions of Trainer A Broadrick in the catching pen post-race. After considering the evidence from both parties’ stewards could not be comfortably satisfied the had been a breach of the rules and no action was taken.

Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 288m

1 Flying Flipper – Bumped with another runner in the home straight, improving onto heels.

2 All Is Good – Entering the back turn was tightened and checked.

3 Red River – Entering the back turn was tightened

4 Unlawful Exit – Entering the back turn was checked.

5 Chasing Bucks – Checked shortly after start. Entering the back turn checked off heels then raced wide. Turning into the home straight raced extremely wide and had to take evasive action to avoid the starting boxes at the beginning of the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. The stewards to spoke to trainer Mr. K. Ollerton with regards to the greyhounds racing pattern exiting the back turn and into the home straight. After taking submissions from Mr. K. Ollerton and viewing all footage, the stewards were of the opinion the greyhound’s performance was unsatisfactory. The greyhound will be stood down from racing until the greyhound completes a trial to the steward’s satisfaction.

8 Crook In Tobruk – Entering the back turn shifted down and bumped with another runner. Along the home straight bumped with another runner and then was galloped on causing the greyhound to shift out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 288m

3 Mack's Payne – Through the back turn bumped with another runner

6 Sugar Pie – Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

9 Mahi Mahi Miss (1) – Was extremely slow to begin missing the start by approximately 20 lengths.  Stewards interviewed trainer Mr. K. Ollerton after taking his submissions and having viewed all footage the stewards were of the opinion the greyhound’s performance was unsatisfactory. The greyhound will be stood down from racing until the greyhound completes a trial to the satisfaction of stewards.

3 Cement City – Entering the back turn bumped with another runner

4 Nine Teen – Shortly after the start was checked. Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

5 Uncle Charlie – Along the home straight raced wide.

7 Katie's Lady - Entering the back turn bumped with another runner. Along the home straight raced wide.

8 Dragon Smoke – Entering the back turn checked around heels. Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS MAIDEN HEAT 4 MAIDEN 288m

2 Firefly Chevy - Entering the back turn was tightened and checked.

3 Assume – Entering the back turn was tightened and checked.

5 Lady Meringue – Approaching the back turn was tightened and checked. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner and then checked.

7 What A Nugget – Entering the back turn was tightened and checked. Through the back turn was galloped on from behind. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner and then checked.

8 Unlimited Wolf – Was slow to begin. Through the back turn improved onto heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside shoulder injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

2 Hunter's Gold – Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

4 Renae Rose – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Just Firebug – Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

1 At Random - Entering the back turn was tightened, severely checked, then fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Sizzling Babe – Entering the back turn was severely inconvenienced.

3 Paradise Five – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked.

4 Cruel Bandit – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked. Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

5 Miss Defy Me – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked.

6 Invictus Yana – Entering the back turn was inconvenienced. Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

7 Bone Master – Entering the back turn was severely inconvenienced. Through the back turn bumped with another runner.

8 Expat Hellcat – Entering the back turn was checked.

1 Rebel Prince – On the first turn improved onto heels. Entering the back turn bumped with another runner.

5 Matt Chew Man – Entering the home straight shifted out and bumped with another runner. In the home straight bumped with another runner on multiple occasions

6 Egyptian King – Entering the back turn was tightened and then checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

7 Lomachenko - Entering the back turn shifted down becoming tightened and then checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Amy's Magic – Shortly after the start was checked. Through the back turn checked off heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside stopper bone injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

1 Shian Huey – Approaching the back turn was severely tightened and checked, then shortly after was checked again.
