Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 2 520m

1 Semper Improved upon the heels of Black Petunia and lost balance entering the turn out of the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

3 Boxing On Raced erratically entering the turn out of the front straight. Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure, rounding the turn out of the front straight. Stewards spoke to trainer P O’reilly regarding the greyhounds racing matters in the turn out of the front straight. After viewing the video footage acting under the provisions of GAR 69(b) Boxing On was suspended from racing for 7 days at Ipswich and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side hip 7 days stand down from racing.
