Race 1 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Thunder Dome - Shortly after the start bumped with another runner. Through the first turn was checked. Entering the back straight bumped with another runner on several occasions. Entering the home straight bumped with another runner. Along the home straight turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards charged the greyhound under GAR69 first offence for marring, 28 days Ipswich only and will need to complete a satisfactory trial before nominating for any future event.

2 Farmor Hours – Through the first turn bumped with another runner then severely checked.

3 Spring Aster - Shortly after the start bumped with another runner.

4 Farmor Stealth - Through the first turn was checked.

6 Go Wild Ethan – Shortly after the start bumped with another runner. Through the first turn bumped with another runner then severely checked.

2 Wild Ritza – Along the home straight turned its head inwards to the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards charged the greyhound under GAR69A first offence for failing to pursue, 28 days Ipswich only and will need to complete a satisfactory trial before nominating for any future event.

A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off hind back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 28 days. The greyhound must complete a solo veterinarian trial prior to any future nomination.

A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hock fracture and was stood down from racing for 12 weeks. The greyhound was administered pain relief on course and transported to North Lakes veterinarian clinic for clinical assessment. This matter will be referred to the greyhound racing injury review panel.
