Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN 2 431m

2 Speed Badke – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Cut And Run – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped entering the back straight. Checked leaving the top turn. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight.

4 Oh So Lavish – Slow away.

5 Diary – Marginally slow away. Checked in the top turn. Checked leaving the top turn. Checked rounding the turn into the front straight.

6 Federal Pearl – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room in 1^st turn. Bumped entering the back straight.

7 Yours – Checked, forced wide and checked another runner in the top turn.

8 Dodgy Mick – Race wide in the back straight. Checked and forced wide in in the top turn.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

1 White Bull – Checked on numerous occasions and became unbalanced approaching the 1^st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

2 Foxy One – Shifted out and checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 1^st turn.

4 Conan – Checked leaving the 1^st turn.

5 Absolute Desire – Tightened for racing room approaching the 1^st turn. Tightened for racing room in the top turn.

Stewards held an inquiry after the running of race 2 in relation to trainer Mr S.Woods presenting the greyhound Absolute Desire in the wrong rug. Stewards charged Mr Woods under R86(O) has, in relation to a greyhound or greyhound racing, done a thing, or omitted to do a thing, which, in the opinion of the Stewards or the Controlling Body, as the case may be, is negligent, specifics are that greyhound Absolute Desire was presented by Mr Woods to stewards in the wrong rug. A monetary fine of $100 was given.

7 Hara's Herbie – Checked shortly after the start. Checked and forced wide approaching the 1^st turn.

8 Velocity Cleo – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room approaching the 1^st turn. Checked and hit the running rail leaving the 1^st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

8 Velocity Lotus – Marginally slow away. Bumped approaching the 1^st turn. Checked on numerous occasions approaching the top turn.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 2 431m

1 Velocity Appeal –Checked in the 1^st turn. Turned head inwards but did not make muzzle contact in the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Charged under R69A Failing to Pursue 1^st offence 28 days at Ipswich and 1 steward’s trial.

2 Energetic Cloud – Checked in the 1^st turn.

3 Bogie Lightning – Checked in the 1^st turn. Steward spoke to trainer S.Topping in regards to the greyhounds action leaving the boxes, after reviewing all available evidence and deemed the greyhound to be searching for the lure and no further action was taken.

4 Roan's Reward – Checked in the 1^st turn. Clipped heels and shifted out entering the back straight.

5 Rosie Love – Checked in the 1^st turn.

6 Spring Release – Checked in the 1^st turn.

7 Farmor Stealth – Checked in the 1^st turn.

8 Chasing Boodie – Checked in the 1^st turn.

1 Wilma's Shadow – Tightened for racing room approaching the 1^st turn.

2 She's Precocious – Bumped approaching the finishing line.

3 Running Express – Marginally slow away. Checked approaching the 1^st turn.

2 Mickey Blue Eyes – Checked shortly after the start. Hit the running rail in the 1^st turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside hip and stood down for 7 days

3 More Than Magic – Checked shortly after the start.

4 Black Magic Mojo – Bumped approaching the turn into the front straight.
