7 Maggie's Return – Bumped with another runner then faulted in its action and gave ground in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side wrist injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

8 Kairabah Kate – Checked rounding the home turn.

1 Golden Age – Checked and lost ground entering the home turn.

2 Jaguarundi – Checked entering the home turn.

3 Border Issues – Checked entering the home turn.

4 This Time Tessie – Severely checked and fell entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Laughing Les – Checked entering the home turn.

1 Patricia's Pride – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Sonja Chardon regarding the greyhound’s racing action in the home straight. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from Mrs Chardon and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Patricia’s Pride had turned its head inwards taking its attention away from the lure, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(A) Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Taranto – Checked on the first turn, severely checked and lost ground in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

3 Spring Gault – Slow to begin, checked on the first turn, checked in the back straight.

5 Consider Me Gone – Checked on the first turn, checked entering the back straight, checked approaching the home turn.

6 Reggie's Brother – Checked on the first turn.

7 Martino Beach – Checked on the first turn.

Race 7 - GREYHOUND GEAR MIXED 4/5 431m

1 Cisco Sniper – Severely checked and gave ground on the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near hind back muscle injury the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Trainer Craig Emery advised the greyhound will now be retired.

2 Black Zircon – Checked entering the first turn, bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

3 Expat Chevelle – Checked entering the first turn.

5 Spring Luna - Bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

6 Expat Kitty Hawk – Checked soon after the start, checked entering the first turn.

7 Amber Days – Checked entering the first turn.

4 Hide The Cash – Became unbalanced approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
