General:  Race 10 was declared a No Race following the premature opening of the starting boxes. Once all the greyhounds were loaded, the Starter activated the green light in order for the lure to be set in motion. The lure was set in motion and after traveling a short distance the boxes opened prior to the lure reaching the starting point. As a result, all greyhounds commenced without the lure, and all completed the circuit. An announcement was made for all patrons to hold tickets, subsequently Stewards acting under GAR 56 (1) declared the event a No race.

7 Soft Steel – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

8 Willow's Axle – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn was bumped, approaching the back turn was checked.

2 Perfect Pins – Slow to begin, shortly after the start.

3 Hara's Herbie – Slow to begin.

5 Our Satin Rose – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn was tightened, into the back turn was tightened.

6 White Bull – Into the 1^st turn raced wide.

5 Out Of Line – Took the 1^st turn wide.

7 Big Boy Benji – Approaching the back turn was checked, over the concluding stages checked across heels.

4 Jump Man – Began awkwardly, approaching the back turn was severely checked.

6 Cool Hand Rick – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, approaching the back turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
