General: Trainer David Fitzgerald was reprimanded under the provisions of GAR39(3) weight variation, in not taking more severe action stewards acknowledged the unique circumstance regarding recent flooding and weather event in South East Queensland.

3 Need Some Help – Bumped with another runner in the back straight, checked approaching the home turn.

5 Mr. Specter – Bumped with another runner in the back straight, checked approaching the home turn.

6 Out Of Turmoil – Bumped with another runner in the back straight.

8 Dipsy Girl – Became unbalanced in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind toe injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 288m

1 Lost Digit – Checked entering the home turn.

2 Problem Child – Checked entering the home turn, became unbalanced and shifted out on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side pin injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

4 King's Calling – Checked entering the home turn, checked rounding the home turn, raced wide in the home straight.

5 Duelling Banjos – Checked entering the home turn.

6 Select Moment – Checked entering the home turn.

7 Gin And Vodka – Checked soon after the start.

2 Mini Comet – Checked and lost ground entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a serious injury to the off side metacarpal, the greyhound has been treated and is to be taken to an off course veterinary clinic for further assessment, the incident will be referred to the injury review panel. Mini Comet has been stood down for 42 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Jump Man – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked and lost ground entering the home turn.
