1 Hooked On Henry – Dragged down from behind by another runner approaching the home turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
2 Special Bill – Improved onto the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and was severely checked, failing to complete the course. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed a compound fracture to the off foreleg and was humanely euthanised. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.
5 Crazy Brax – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Toy Soldier – Commenced to weaken shortly after the start when appeared to have sustained an injury. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed torn stomach muscles and was stood down from racing for 21 days. Trainer Mr Ashley Bock advised Stewards that he intends to retire Toy Soldier after today’s run.
4 Shannon's Entity – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
8 Kairabah Kate – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
