2 Flying Phil – Through the 1^st turn checked across heels.

4 Sheriff Bart – Leaving 1^st turn was severely checked appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed and injury to its nearside pin and was stood down for 10 days.

5 Perfect Pins – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

6 Tequila Eyes – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Rosdue Mia – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 431m

1 This Is Sirius – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

3 Pure Devil – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Spring Flyer – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin and was stood down for 10 days.

7 Maywyn's Victory – Into the 1st turn improved onto heels and was checked.

9 (2) Far More Women – Into the 1^st turn was tightened.

1 Missy Special – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Hara's Pearl – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

5 Barefoot Wah Wah – Into the 1^st turn was checked, approaching the back turn made contact with the running rail. A post trace veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Dodgy Mick – Through the 1^st turn was checked, through the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was inconvenienced. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

7 Who Told Tiger – Shortly after the star was tightened, through the 1^st turn was checked.

8 Black Nettle – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

10 (2) Hoover – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE 431m

3 Ringbark Rita – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced and checked, approaching the back turn was inconvenienced.

4 Where's The Pub – Slow to begin, leaving the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, approaching the back turn was checked.

5 Raine – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

6 Repeat Dose – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

7 Spring Release – Through the 1^st turn was checked.

9 (2) King Of Cakes – Into the 1^st turn turned its head outwards on two occasions taking its attention away from the lure bumping with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer S Neary regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Neary, stewards deemed King Of Cakes did take its attention away from the lure and could be satisfied head or muzzle contact wasn’t made therefore invoked GAR 69A Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule King Of Cakes was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 5 - QLD BRED 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 431m

2 Ancient Glory – Into the 1^st turn was checked, leaving the 1^st turn was tightened.

3 Rondinella – Shortly after the start was tightened, into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn improved onto heels. Through the back turn was checked.

4 Fast Burner – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the back turn was checked.

5 Ruby's Angel – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

7 Brandy Balloon – Shortly after the start was tightened.

9 (6) Wildash Uncle – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, entering the back straight was inconvenienced.

1 Swift Zach – In the home straight collided with another runner.

3 Diva's Boy – Slow to begin, in the back straight improved onto heels.

4 Mystery Duck – Into the 1^st turn was checked, in the back straight was checked, into the back turn was checked.

5 Tuta Edge – In the home straight collided with another runner.

6 Sweet Gig – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was tightened.

6 Spring Cleo – Into the 1^st turn was tightened, into the back turn checked across heels.

7 Tracy's Shadow – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, through the back turn checked across heels. In the back and home straights race wide.

8 Bailey – In the back and home straights race wide.

1 Remembering – Slow to begin. Into the 1^st turn was checked. In the home straight was checked across heels.

6 Bella's Blessed – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and checked.

8 Gossamer Wings – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

Race 11 - CHASE NEWSPAPER MIXED 4/5 431m

1 Wild Eyes – In the home straight was inconvenienced.

4 Lily Monelli – Slow to begin, shortly after the start was checked. Into the home straight turned its head towards the runner to its outside taking its attention away from the lure bumping with that runner as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Cutlack regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from trainer J Cutlack, stewards deemed Lily Monelli did take its attention away from the lure and couldn’t be satisfied head or muzzle contact was made therefore invoked GAR 69A Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Lily Monelli was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6 Keyed Alike – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced.

9 (7) Spring Luna – Into the back turn improved heels.
