Race 6 - IPSWICH AUCTION SERIES (G3) HEAT 3 OPEN 520m

3 Oh Reuben – Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Cool Hand Rick – Dragged down from behind rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer in regard to the greyhound’s racing manner in the front straight where it appeared to shorten in its action for a stride. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

Race 7 - DOVER & SONS GRADE 5 520m

1 My Melanie – Bumped with another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer David Campbell regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the home straight. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that My Melanie had turned its head outwards towards another greyhound, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69(A) Fail to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Ancient Glory – Checked entering the first turn.

3 Cincinati Cyndie – Checked and lost ground in the home straight.

4 She's Precocious – Checked in the back straight.

5 Just Ace – Checked entering the first turn, checked entering the home turn.

7 Hara's Reign – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

8 Spring Sonic – Checked entering the home turn.

10 Winged Dominance (6) – Checked entering the first turn.

Race 9 - SKY RACING MIXED 3/4 431m

3 Spring Pirate – Dragged down from behind approaching the home turn.

4 Magical Hope – Checked rounding the first turn.

7 Tequila Worm – Checked approaching the home turn, raced wide in the back straight and home straight.

8 Captain Bizarre – Checked approaching the home turn.

Race 10 – TAB GRADE 5 (1) 431m

All clear was delayed to afford the Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to a bird on the track in the home straight, after doing so stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was effected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

1 Starlight Belle – Slow to begin, checked rounding the first turn.

2 Keyed Alike – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Hopeful Bella – Checked rounding the first turn, checked approaching the home turn, checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards questioned trainer representative Warren Elson regarding the greyhounds racing action in the back straight. After hearing submissions and viewing the footage, Stewards placed a warning on the greyhounds racing manners in relation to its action in the back straight.

4 Kick Off – Checked rounding the first turn.

5 My Bro Oreo – Checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the home straight.

6 Barcelona Cyndie – Checked rounding the home turn.

7 Hopeful Cyndie – Checked rounding the first turn.

1 Hara's Betty – Severely checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

2 Love Game – Slow to begin, checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the home turn.

3 Special Hope – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Dynamic Cyndie – Checked rounding the first turn, became unbalanced and hit the rail approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Faster Than Hoot – Slow to begin.

7 Frosty Girl – Checked approaching the home turn.

Race 12 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 (3) 431m

The start of the race was delayed approximately 2 minutes while Stewards cleared birds from the track. Subsequently the front row had been loaded and was removed from the starting boxes and underwent a pre-race veterinary check before the race commenced.

1 Taranto – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Remembering – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.

4 Dynamite Rose – Checked approaching the first turn, checked rounding the first turn.

5 Life's A Vision – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Checked approaching the first turn.

6 Darkseid – Checked approaching the first turn, checked rounding the first turn.

7 Mystery Duck – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Checked rounding the first turn.
