General: Following the no race in Race 3, maintenance was undertaken on the lure, before being tested. As a result, all races were delayed, and new start times issued –

Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY NOVICE 520m |

2 Iconic – Checked in the front straight. Checked in the first turn. Checked approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

3 Aces Up – Raced wide turning into the back straight. Marred by another runner for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

4 Daysea's Sam – Slow to begin. Checked in the front straight. |

5 Master Pele – Checked in the front straight. |
|
6 Blue Rex – Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure and making muzzle contact with another runner entering the back straight, rounding the home turn and in the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer P O’Reilly regarding the greyhounds racing manners throughout the event. Blue Rex was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Ipswich pursuant to GAR69(1) and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Declared a no race due to the lure malfunctioning.
|

1 Truthiness – Checked through the turn into the back straight. Took no further part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off fore limb and was stood down from racing for sixty (60) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer D Johnstone advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Brisbane Pet Surgery for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel. |

4 Kiss And Cut – Collided with another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side hip injury and was stood down for 7 days. |

8 Sleuth – Sustained an injury and fell in the first turn. Took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off side hock and was stood down from racing for sixty (60) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer J Cutlack advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Greenbank Veterinary Hospital for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel. |
