2 Yarrenlea Girl – Checked across heels soon after the start, checked rounding the home turn.

3 Mickey My Boy – Checked soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind webbing, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Kerry Hogan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight. After viewing the video footage and considered submissions from the trainer, Stewards deemed the greyhound had turned its head outwards making contact with another runner on several occasions. Therefore, Steward’s invoked GAR 123 marring 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Mrs. Avery – Slow to begin, checked approaching the home turn.

5 Whiskey Sour – Checked in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

9 Cockney Sparrow (1) – Shifted out and checked soon after the start, marred by another runner rounding the home turn and in the home, straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

3 Lucky Elephant – Checked entering the home turn, bumped with another runner entering the home straight, bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

4 Whispering Sadie – Dragged down from behind rounding the home turn.

5 Carroway – Checked soon after the start, hit the rail approaching the home turn, checked off heels rounding the home turn, bumped with another runner entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near hind leg injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
