Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards questioned trainer P.O’Reilly on the performance of the greyhound which he stated that this was the first time over a longer distance and would be racing over the 431m in up coming events. Also stated the greyhound suffered significant racing interference during the event. Stewards noted his explanation.
