Race 1 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION MDNPW 431m

1 Keep Tracking – A post-race veterinary examination reveal no apparent abnormalities.

3 Ayaya – In the home straight shifted out making head contact with the runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Peter Cauchi regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Cauchi stewards deemed that Ayaya did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Ayaya was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next but only once the 10 day injury period has expired.

6 Yarrenlea Girl – Took the 1^st turn wide.

7 Glenreagh Spud – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn brushed the running rail, into the back turn eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its chest muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 431m

1 Hachey Boy – Into the 1^st turn was severely checked making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Candy Kisses – Slow to begin, into 1^st turn was severely checked.

4 Farmor Admission – Near the finish looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed and injury to it nearside hind fibula and was stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Fernvale Flash – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Thea's Angel – Into the 1^st turn was checked, approaching the back turn improved onto heels.

5 Velocity Daisy – Approaching the 1^st turn was tightened.

6 Feral Magic – Through the 1^st turn was inconvenienced, approaching the back turn was checked.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (2) 431m

3 Federal Pearl – Into the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Dodgy Mick – Shortly after the start was tightened, approaching the back turn was galloped on.

7 Yogi's Girl – Slow to begin, through the 1^st turn improved onto heels, approaching the back turn improved onto heels

5 Stick Hunter – Into the back turn was inconvenienced, rounding the home turn was taken wider on the track.

Race 7 - BODHI INK TATTOO GALLERY 4/5 GRADE HEAT 3 MIXED 4/5 431m

3 Ritza Rebel – Through the back turn was inconvenienced.

4 Triple Bogey - Through the back turn was tightened, shortly after shifted out towards the runner to its outside taking its attention away from the lure A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Shane Topping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners through the back turn, after reviewing the video replay and the submissions from Mr Topping stewards could not be satisfied Triple Bogey made head or muzzle contact with greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 124(1) Failing to purse. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Triple Bogey was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Hooked On Xena – Entering the back straight checked across heels, into the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

10 (1) Stratford – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was checked.

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND 4/5 GRADE HEAT 4 MIXED 4/5 431m

1 Lady Swiss – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the 1^st turn was checked.

2 Spring Lilli – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the 1^st turn was checked, rounding the home turn improved onto heels and was checked. Entering the home straight turned its head inwards taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Karen Tribe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight, after reviewing the video replay Mrs Tribe conceded the greyhound was in breach of GAR 124(1) Failing to purse. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Spring Lilli was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3 Black Idol – Into the 1^st turn was checked, through the 1^st turn was checked.

4 Jedi Miss – Into the 1^st turn was checked, near the finish was galloped on and checked.

5 Cheeky Willow – Into the 1^st turn was checked, near the finish eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Felicia Guymer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight with in particular the concluding stages, after reviewing the video replay, the steward’s observation and submissions from Miss Guymer, stewards invoked GAR 124(1) Failing to purse. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Cheeky Willow was suspended from racing at Ipswich for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

6 Oh So Bro - Through the 1^st turn was checked, near the finish improved onto heels and was severely checked.

7 Yours – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was tightened.

8 Spring Aggie - Into the 1^st turn was checked, rounding the home turn was galloped on.

4 Jaguarundi – Shortly after the start was bumped becoming unbalanced, into the 1^st turn shifted in colliding with another runner.

8 Spring Evie – Near the finish shifted across heels.

1 Spring Sonic – Into the 1^st turn was checked, into the back turn was tightened.

8 Aces Up – Shortly after the start was inconvenienced, raced wide for the entire event.
