Race 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 431m

1 Tommy Egan Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Dragged down entering the back straight.

3 Rex Hunter Bumped entering the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Improved upon the heels of another runner entering the back straight. Collided with another runner entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

4 Velocity Jasmine Bumped entering the turn into the back straight. Clipped heels leaving the turn into the back straight. Checked entering the back straight.

5 Pokie Jackpot Slow to begin.

6 Villain Bumped entering the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Turned its head to the outside, away from the lure, and shifted out bumping with another runner on several occasions, rounding the turn into the home straight. Collided with another runner entering the home straight.  Stewards spoke to trainer Karen Tribe regarding the greyhounds racing matters rounding the turn into the home straight. After viewing the video footage acting under the provisions of GAR 125(1)(a) Villain was suspended from racing for 10 days at Ipswich and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near hind webbing, 10 days stand down from racing.
