General: Due to a mechanical issue with the 431m boxes races 5 & 11 were manually started.

4 Manuka Duck – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Tommy Egan – Checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the home turn. Hit the rail after the conclusion of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 7 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND MIXED 3/4 431m

1 Presley Power – Checked rounding the first turn, faulted in its action entering the back straight and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near hind back muscle injury the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Jedi Miss – Checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight, checked rounding the home turn.

3 He's So Cool – Checked rounding the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen which revealed no significant findings.

4 Kiki's Mom – Checked rounding the first turn, checked entering the back straight then trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

6 Magical Revival – Slow to begin.

7 Rosdue Rockette – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Burned – Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - GREYHOUND PHOTOS NMW (1) 520m

1 Tarawi Elsa – Faulted in its action soon after the start and trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a back strain, the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

4 Farmor Alfa's – Checked off heels soon after the start.

5 Sienna Voletta – Checked entering the first turn, became unbalanced rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

7 Sweet Werina – Checked entering the first turn.

Stewards spoke with trainer Peter O’Reilly in relations to the greyhound manners whilst being boxes, it was determined that the greyhound had caught the handler off guard and was not fully to blame for the incident, therefore Stewards have taken no further action at this stage but will monitor the greyhound at future events.
