1 Stop Traffic – Bumped with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight.

2 Waikarie Bronson – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

3 Blue Sensation – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked entering the back straight.

4 Danish Cake – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn. Bumped with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight. Shifted in and turned its head to the inside taking its attention away from the lure and making muzzle contact with another runner over the middle stages of the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer Shane Ellis regarding the greyhound’s racing actions in the home straight and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of marring (1^st offence) pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 123 and, as such, Danish Clarke was suspended from racing for twenty-eight (28) days at Ipswich and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

5 Wild Hux – Checked off heels rounding the first turn.

7 Shian Freddy – Dragged down from behind entering the back straight.

8 Bravo One – Slow to begin. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431M

2 Sad Eyes – Tightened for racing room and was checked shortly after the start.

3 Summer Weeds – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Galway Clancy – Checked off heels rounding the first turn. Severely checked entering the back straight and shifted out on the turn.

5 Dancing Bear – Slow to begin. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

7 Shian Gizmo – Checked rounding the first turn. Checked off heels entering the back straight. Checked off heels rounding the turn into the home straight.

8 Deal Maker – Checked and carried wider by another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Harleen Quinzel – Severely checked entering the back straight.

3 Cheeky Willow – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Referral – Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Barefoot Wah Wah – Checked off heels entering the back straight.

8 Zenithar – Severely checked and was dragged down entering the back straight.

1 Daysea's Jimmy – Made contact with the running rail and was checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

2 Cockney Pride – Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near hind limb and was stood down from racing for ten (10) days.

4 Rushmore Chase – Checked rounding the first turn.

6 Spring Maple – Checked rounding the first turn.

RACE 10 - WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS GRADE 5 (2) 431M

1 Buster Up = Turned its head to the outside taking its attention away from the lure over the early and middle stages of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Lawrence Topping regarding the greyhounds racing actions in the home straight, and, after hearing his evidence, deemed the greyhound’s conduct to constitute an offence of failing to pursue (1^st offence) pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 124.  As the greyhound had two previous marring offences pursuant to Greyhounds Australasia Rule 123, Stewards deemed this to be Buster Up’s 3^rd offence and, as such, the greyhound was suspended from racing for three (3) months at all tracks and must perform two (2) satisfactory trials prior to racing next.

2 Stay Warm Bear – Checked, faltered in its action and shifted wider rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its off fore limb and was stood down from racing for sixty (60) days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer Darren Johnstone advised Stewards that he will take the greyhound to the Brisbane Pet Surgery for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.

4 Have A Heart – Tightened for racing room and was checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.

5 Shian Huey – Checked shortly after the start. Checked and carried wider rounding the first turn.

6 Zipping Thunder – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

7 Maywyn's Victory – Tightened for racing room and was checked shortly after start.

8 Bogie Lightning – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked in the early stages of the home straight.

RACE 11 - CHASE NEWSPAPER GRADE 5 (3) 431M

1 Lost Digit – Checked off heels rounding the first turn.

5 Quick Flick – Slow to begin.

6 Adventure Queen – Tightened for racing room and checked rounding the first turn.

10 Cheeky Chaser (4) – Severely checked rounding the first turn. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to its near hind limb and was stood down from racing for seven (7) days.
