Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE MAIDEN 2 520m

4 Tumbling Dice – Bumped with another runner on several occasions entering and rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to the near side hind leg the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

6 Lorna's Creek – Checked off heels in the front straight, bumped with another runner on several occasions entering and rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside metacarpal strain the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kevin Kemp regarding the greyhound’s racing actions entering and rounding the first turn. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Greyhound had eased and taken its attention away from the lure, therefore Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to Pursue with injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days at Ipswich and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Our Plumber – Checked entering the first turn, checked off heels rounding the first turn.

8 King Wylde – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 2 520m

1 Sooky Sue – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked entering the first turn.

2 Fernvale Flash – Checked soon after the start, checked approaching the home turn.

3 Flying Layla – Checked soon after the start.

4 Polly's Jester – Bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked rounding the first turn.

5 Side Kick - Checked entering the first turn, severely checked and became unbalanced rounding the first turn, bumped with another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side should injury the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

6 Royal Look – Checked entering the first turn, checked rounding the first turn.

7 Flying Megs - Checked entering the first turn, severely checked rounding the first turn.

8 Where's The King – Slow to begin, checked rounding the home turn, bumped with another runner approaching the winning post.

1 Petite Swagger – Checked entering the first turn.

4 Born Ruby – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Josh Priest regarding the greyhound’s performance, Mr Priest stated he did expect the greyhound to perform better but was not disappointed with the run. Stewards noted his submissions.

8 Austrian Beauty – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Robert Peschke regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Peschke stated that he was disappointed with the greyhound’s performance and the greyhound will now have a short spell. Stewards noted his submissions.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Blue Rex – Began awkwardly, bumped with another runner entering the home straight.

4 High Sun – Bumped with another runner entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 5 - ROWAN ANDERSON JOURNALIST 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 520m

1 Just Ace – Checked entering the first turn.

3 Where's The Pub – Checked entering the first turn.

4 Federal Ruby – Checked in the front straight, checked entering the first turn.

6 Yogi's Girl – Checked entering the first turn.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed an a near side back muscle injury the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
