General:

· Due to increasing rain following race 8 stewards downgraded the track from good to slow

· Following the boxes malfunctioning and opening early in race 9 stewards declared the event a “No Race” and the remainder of the meeting would be a manual start

5 Rubys And Pearls – Checked shortly after the start. Shifted wider and checked entering the first turn.

6 Nice Redeem – Checked shortly after the start.

8 Be What May – Checked and shifted wider entering the first turn.

Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 431m

5 Back Flip – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners shortly after the start.

6 Bullbar Bruce – Tightened for racing room, checked other runners and disadvantaged shortly after the start.

7 Cuckoo Coconuts – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners shortly after the start.

8 Serpentine – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners shortly after the start.

7 Summer Weeds – Checked entering the first turn. Shifted wider in the back straight. Shifted wider exiting the turn onto the front straight.

9 Top Shelf Toby (5) – Slow to begin. Shifted wider in the back straight.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NOVICE (1) 431m

1 Battlefield – Checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

3 Secret Doll – Checked shortly after the start. Checked across the heels of another runner and disadvantaged around the first turn.

4 Hit List – Checked nearing the second turn.

5 Canya Torque – Bumped shortly after the start.

6 Fernvale Flash – Bumped shortly after the start.

8 Brisk Impact  – Checked and lost footing and gave ground nearing the second turn. A veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and stood down for 7 days

Race 5 - BEENLEIGH LEGAL NOVICE (2) 431m

1 Sassy Boo – Began awkwardly and tightened for racing room and bumped immediately after the start. Momentarily disadvantaged entering the first turn.

2 Zambrock – Began awkwardly and tightened for racing room and bumped immediately after the start.

6 Full Of Cheek – Raced wider for entire event.

3 Septimo – Checked entering the first turn. Checked off the heels of another runner nearing the second turn.

2 Kasey's Money – Tightened for racing room and bumped approaching the exit of the second turn.

4 Sorority – Checked in the front straight on the first occasion. Bumped exiting the turn onto the front straight.

5 Spring Kono – Checked in the front straight on the first occasion.

7 Boxing On – Slow to begin. Forced wider in the front straight on the first occasion. Tightened for racing room and bumped approaching the exit of the second turn. Bumped exiting the turn onto the front straight.

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

4 She Wolf – Checked in the front straight on the first occasion

6 Sweet Werina – Checked and disadvantaged in the front straight on the first occasion

8 Emerald Eyes – Checked and lost footing in the front straight on the first occasion

4 Hunter's Gold – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners to varying degrees shortly after the start. Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn. Checked and disadvantaged around the first turn.

5 Fast And Fabio – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners to varying degrees shortly after the start. Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn. Checked and disadvantaged around the first turn.

6 Authority – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners to varying degrees shortly after the start. Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn. Checked around the first turn.

7 Roulette – Tightened for racing room and checked other runners to varying degrees shortly after the start. Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn.

Race 11 – TAB GRADE 5 (2) 431m

2 Pokie Change – Bumped nearing the first turn. Checked heavily onto the hind quarters of another runner and fell heavily exiting the turn onto the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and stood down for 10 days

3 Ruby Shines – Bumped nearing the first turn. Checked off heels and lost its footing around the first turn.

4 Hopetoun Street – Checked heavily on the hind quarters and dragged down exiting the turn onto the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

8 Dodgy Mick – Collided heavily with fallen runner and also fell heavily exiting the turn onto the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities
