Race 2 - SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 431m

2 Big Wednesday – Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Walk Right In – Checked rounding the first turn.

4 Sabrina Bean – Slow to begin. Inconvenienced rounding the first turn. Bumped with another runner approaching the top turn. Stewards revoked the hard to box from the greyhound for future events.

5 Jackson's Miss – Checked entering the back straight. Shifted in bumping with another runner approaching the top turn.

6 Spring Flare – Checked rounding the first turn.

8 Pebble's Return – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

8 Cloud Sniffer – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the offside hip and was subsequently stood down for 7 days.

Race 4 - DOVER & SONS NMW 520m

2 Blue Queen – Checked shortly after the start. Checked off heels approaching the home turn.

8 Question Asked – Checked off heels rounding the first turn.

Race 5 - GREYHOUND GEAR NOVICE 431m

1 Booming Boo Boo – Turned its head outwards towards another runner on multiples occasions in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the offside hip, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr P O’rilley regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Booming Boo Boo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. The greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, before any future nomination will be accepted.

3 Tequila Worm – Checked approaching the first turn. Checked rounding the first turn. Shifted out in the back straight then raced wide for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities

4 Fernando Beach – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped rounding the first turn.
