5 Palmdale – Slow to begin, checked approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

9 Regal Pursuit (8) – Checked entering the home turn. Turned its head inwards taking its attention away from the lure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer John Geoghegan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After viewing the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to Pursue with injury - 10 day stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1 Worthy Explosion – Checked entering the home turn.

2 Alpha Tiara – Gave ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside calf injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

4 Fernando Holly - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling in the catching pen which revealed a near side hock abrasion the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
